“Absolutely grateful that this station exists. Although there is very limited service (6 trains in each direction on the weekends and one in each direction during the weekdays) and the station is basically a slab of asphalt with a tiny shed to sit in, it does enough justice to drop you off nearby to some preserves and trails. You're not there to hang around at the station; you're there to camp or hike! Just be mindful that trains frequently see the area, so run off the tracks as soon as possible.”

“Parking is by permit only, as far as I can tell. There are machines to buy tickets and signs directing you to the correct side of the platform. If you try to get directions to this station Google Maps might direct you to the drop off circle located on the wrong side of the platform, rather than the parking lot.”

“A station in a quiet spot, but it should really have an entrance at Lester Drive since people park there as well. ”

“It's a commuter rail station. What's to say? Architecture is 1990’s banal. Plenty of parking. Trains are usually on time (within 5 minutes of schedule). Kept reasonably clean. Lack of a bathroom that is available 24x7 is a problem.”

“Nice clean station, I see nothing wrong with it. R An easy walk to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetary too.”

“It's a fine trian station. Very little chance of confusion of direction. It's on local trains mostly with most Express trains stopping at Ossining train station a few miles north. The parking is okay, it's on the bottom of a large Hill and traffic does get crazy during rushes. Overall I like it with my expience which was a daily commute for a year to Grand Central. That commute took a range of 45-60 minutes depending on the train.”

“Clean with trains about every hour on average. The station house is always clean. There's a little underpass but it seems like it gets neglected with the condition it's in. ”

“It's a quaint & sleepy LIRR stop hidden in Valley Stream. There's no non-resident parking & limited service but it sure beats the much busier Valley Stream station.”

“A bit difficult to get to if you don't have a car, and it's located about a dozen feet above the street. The waiting room is located on platform level, and the first floor is used by the local post office branch. The only issue is that it's single tracked, which limits train service.”
