“In response to Patricia Chandler’s review of my business service on Google. I would like to take this time to thank her for her advice. Feedback from customers are good to know but please remember there are always two sides to every story and due to our own human prejudice, the actual truth lies somewhere in the middle. Mr. Joseph Chandler contacted me a few months ago inquiring about installing two windshields in an old truck that was at one time either a bread truck or box truck or as Mrs. Chandler stated, “Special Project Vehicle” he had intentions of converting in to a camper. I told Mr. Chandler I would go by and look at the vehicle to see if I could install the glass he wanted installed. I went by there as promised. Upon inspection of the vehicle, I noticed the vehicle was sitting on top of jack stands and did not have a motor, transmission, drive shaft, wiring or even interior in the vehicle. This was just a shell of a vehicle sitting on jack stands. I removed one piece of glass that was broken, to be used as a pattern to cut the necessary glass for replacement. I then told Mr. Chandler that the vehicle he wanted the glass installed in would need to be taken off of the jack stands for the glass to be installed. This is for safety reason that I requested the vehicle be on the ground. Mr. or Mrs. Chandler had already contacted 2 other glass companies to have the windshields installed. The first company they contacted did not show up as they had promised and the second company told them they would not be able to install the glass. However, with my 30+ years of experience and knowledge, I can cut the glass and properly install them. Mr. Chandler has contacted me a total of four (4) times and all of those times I either answered his calls or returned his calls within 30 minutes of him calling me. The third time Mr. Chandler called, I relayed to him that I had cut the two (2) pieces of glass and will install them but that I was running behind in my work schedule. (The shell of the “Special Project” vehicle is still sitting on top of the jack stands as of 3/28/18.) Mr. Chandler left a threatening voice mail message in February of 2018 stated that he would ruin my name and business in the community of which I still do business in daily. When I returned the call to Mr. Chandler, I told him that I would still do the installment of the requested glass he needs but that the vehicle must be taken off of the jack stands and sitting on the ground for my safety protection. Mr. Chandler immediately started screaming at me in such a loud voice that the person I had in front of me could hear the entire conversation as he was yelling in his hard, stern screaming voice that contained profanity. I responded to Mr. Chandler that he must have mental issues, but after thinking about the situation, he may just have anger issues. Mr. Chandler, told me that he had made a promise to his wife that he would take her camping and I truly believe Mr. Chandler’s, main frustration stems from the fact that he had not completed the necessary work to get this “Special project vehicle” on the road and therefore has made a promise to Mrs. Chandler that he has not been able to keep . I sincerely appreciate Mrs. Chandler’s feedback and concerns for my business, but I have been doing fine for over 30+ years. I do my best on every job to complete all work to the satisfaction of my customers and my ratio of having to re-do a job is very minimal. My side of the story can be verified by riding by their home and finding the vehicle still sitting on jack stands.”
