“Beautiful golf course North of Charlotte. It is a bit of a hike from the Charlotte area but completely worth the drive. The course is immaculate and greens fees are incredibly reasonable. The clubhouse is well stocked. There is a full service restaurant and bar. The hydrangeas on the course in spring and summer are gorgeous.”

“We have stayed at this hotel 2 years in a row to celebrate our anniversary now. Anna, the Assistant Manager, is absolutely fantastic! She even left a gift of a bottle of wine for us and a nice note welcoming us and wishing us a happy anniversary! There's another young lady at the front desk, wish I could remember her name, she went out of her way to welcome us back! All of the staff are so nice! The room was perfect, clean, and SO comfortable! Love everything about this hotel! Will definitely be back!”

“Every year the Crowne Plaza has taken care of the leaders of Mercy Hill Church for a few years. I haven't been to a hotel like this, with a staff like this, honest review here but they are some wonderful people. I wish I could give everyone here a raise. They are super on it if you stay here. You have questions, is there a issue. Well they are going to be on it! Great food as well, good location to boost. I highly recommend this place.”

“David and Amy are natural hosts with a welcoming smile. They always find time to answer questions or attend to a need. Less than a year ago they opened the home as an inn after carefully restoring the house. It is both tastefully decorated and super comfortable! The beds, covered in highest quality soft cotten sheets and duvet, make you feel like you slept on a cloud. Guests look well rested when they come into the dining room for the well selected continental breakfast offerings (which often are complemented with yummy treats like their baked from scratch date nut or banana bread). The hosts clearly care about details which make life easier and are very good at keeping all living things - including live plants around the house -healthy and happy! David exlicitly invites guests to enjoy the living room as theirs, so they gather in front of the great fireplace, grab a read from the library or relax and enjoy take out supper from one of the local eateries on the porch. As a dog lover who lost her own buddy to old age recently, I am so happy to see their dogs play in the fenced yard. What a great place to come home to after a day of work or visiting family or sites in the area! I have staid at many luxury B&Bs around the world and enjoyed them all, but I keep coming back here because there is no better home away from home in this area than the Holly and Ivy Inn!”

“I met with Kristin to conduct a deep clean at a tiny home and she is just wonderful to talk with. The tiny home is absolutely perfect for Anyone looking to have a great time on the lake and have access to a full kitchen, bathroom, beds and living space. The home is much larger on the inside and is very well maintained. Kristin was great to work with, very friendly, and very professional. I would highly recommend renting a tiny home to anyone, its the new wave, and they are really neat and very clean.”

“Looks like a place we will camp at. Although their tent site areas were greatly damaged with all the rain and flooding the sites for tents are closed at this time. Took a nice stroll through the RV site areas. Very quiet. It was about 9:00am. Some campers and semi-permanent people were up and about. Nice water front area. Office staff more than accommodating. Check it out for yourself!”
