“I visited the park for the first time with my dog for a stroll. We enjoyed the long winding path through the manicured park. Bridges crossed wetlands where you could read plaques describing info on animal, flora and fauna you see. There were swings beneath trees to sit and enjoy a respite. Tennis courts, playground, and outdoor workout equipment. Beautiful park and I will be back often.”

“Loved this RV park. It was my home for the last 3 months while travel nursing. The sites are rather large, wifi is good and Shannon was AMAZING to work with. Each site has a concrete pad that is large and a picnic table. They also have a cute fire pit, corn hole, playground and community area. No other amenities really, but my camper is self contained so it was no big deal. Beautiful views and very quiet campground. Highly recommend!”

“What an awesome park! SO many trails and great views of the lake. THE cleanest park I've ever seen. Bathrooms are immaculate. The playground is enormous and very nice. Tennis/pickle ball courts. An awesome park center with a great staff! Very helpful and kind. I wished I had grabbed my bike to really see the entire place. Very large area, tons of trails! They even have a tool station for bikes with bike pumps for flats. They've really thought of it all”

“Throughly enjoyed our time at Bakers Mountain Park. We went for a hike on Presidents Day, and felt like we almost had the place to ourselves. We spent a good 2 hours hiking the different trails and eventually made our way to the look out. It was a fun and somewhat challenging hike in certain areas. It was neat to see where the old cabin was and read about the history of it. The kids enjoyed learning about the different trees that were along the trails. The trails were easy to follow and well marked. The bathrooms were super clean and the park was well taken care of. Would definitely recommend that you take a hike here, and will definitely be back!”

“Was just driving around looking at different places that we can move to when I retire. Ran across a playground for the kids to burn off energy that had a huge dog park! Everyone we talked with were very nice and the place was well maintained!”

“This park has two playsets, one added in 2019 with another shaded by trees. There is a restroom facility, dining shelters with a grill, and a baseball and football field. Overall this is friendly neighborhood park with a bus stop and a nearby convenience store.”

“Great place to walk but my family and I just had an encounter with someone that works here. He was very rude to my husband. Hours online said they closed at 8. We show up at 6:50 and he comes to us at 7:00 and says Parks Closed (being a smart butt).”

“Fun place for the Grandchildren! They loved the climbing and sliding! We stayed for a while and they had a blast! It has changed some since when I brought my girls, but they still have a high twisting slide for the kids to play on! I think that is the best part of the park!”

“Have been coming to this park for several years now and always find something fun to do. There is play areas for kids and tons of trails and disk golf for everyone to enjoy. Also beautiful areas to walk or sit and relax by water as well. Something fun for the whole family”

“The mountain bike trails here are awesome! The loops are long enough that you can ride for a while and then you can combine different trails easily to get more or less mileage. It also has some really fun downhill stuff and the pump track is great. I ride here at least once a week. There is also a paved trail through the middle which is great if you don't want to ride the single track trails.”

“The city has made renovation on this park. I like it because there are seldom many people there, I can take my dog there, shoot around at the basketball hoops or place tennis.”

“Nice short trail in the park. Not as crowded as the Cherokee trail. A beautiful stroll through a mostly hardwood forest with a scenic lake view about half way through the loop. You are close to the 78 so a bit of road noise.”

“It’s a nice park but fairy empty and the walking trail is very short. My dog had a blast though and the fitness area outside was very nice and newly renovated.”

“Great roofing company! AMAZING work! Not a stressful process for getting a new roof! Spencer made it very easy on us for getting a new roof. Love that the owner is a Lenoir Alum and is helping the community out after all these hail storms. Highly recommend!”

“I'm not going to leave a bad review due to negligent dog owners because it isn't the park's fault or the dog's fault, but some Shepard owners can't behave themselves properly. This creates an unfortunate liability issue. The park is fantastic though. I'm extremely impressed.”
