“I wanted new tree toppers for my trees. For less than $50 I was able to get some good stuff and not fight the Hobby Lobby crowds! More importantly shopping locally. They do take cards. It would be a great place to get cometary sprays. Definitely small in there and you have to dig outside but I found exactly what I wanted!”

“Never been to this Church before, but I helped a friend of mine that had a cotton candy trailer. We set up at the church and they were having a function for their Bible School. My friend that owned the cotton candy trailer I went to help him serve cotton candy. Snow cones. And popcorn. The youth pastor is also a friend of mine and we were there serving all the kids I had more fun at this function these children at this church seem to be very well behaved. I would like to thank my friend and also the youth pastor. For allowing us to be a part of their special kickoff for their Bible School. It was one of my special times to be remembered. I would like to thank the youth pastor Bobby Steele. And David Young the owner of the cotton candy trailer. This is what this world needs today all the help that was put on for these children. “We love going to the moose Lodge. Sarah is always friendly, helpful and gives excellent service. Tonight we had ribeyes! Along with the fried pickles to go with our beer. A really nice evening, a delicious turkey club sandwich. Excellent price as it was a huge sandwich. I had enough for lunch tomorrow! We enjoyed a beer and some camaraderie. A packed evening for prime rib night! The food continues to improve at the Moose Lodge. The fish and shrimp night is one of our favorites! The fish was perfectly cooked tonight, with a delicious baked potato, and coleslaw. A fabulous meal. My husband had the grilled chicken which also was perfectly cooked. Excellent!”

“I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful in getting registered as a guest. Also, our family was allowed to use the conference room for our visit. On the other hand, my relative shared a room with another person who seems to have either a cognitive disorder or dementia. There should be more of an effort to match roommates that have more in common. This is the reason that I rated the facility 4 stars rather than 5 stars.”

“Mr. David arrived for his 9am appointment at just after 8:30. He completed the work efficiently, properly and quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for service or to recommend him, but with a heads up to be prepared to pay more for that knowledge and reliability. He is very expensive. Our service took under an hour and a half. He supplied a replacement outdoor faucet and those were his only parts as we already had the disposal that he installed. The bill was $300.00.”

“I’ve stopped at this quaint store several times while passing through the great countryside of Silk Hope, North Carolina. The store owner goes by the name of “Chub.” He so graciously welcomed me into his small, family owned business. It is evident that he makes every person who walks through the store doors feel like family. You can always count on a group of older men gossiping about the “rotational grazing” methods for their livestock. AND their pizza is the BOMB!! I look forward to seeing Chub and the other Silk Hope farmers on my next visit to “good ole’ Silk Hope Service!””

“Children of Fallen Heroes had the privilege of collaborating with the Silk Hope Volunteer Fire Department for the 50th Commemorative Anniversary of the U.S. Army Golden Knights, honoring the brave Gold Team Members lost in a tragic plane crash. We are immensely grateful for their invaluable support throughout this emotional and significant event. The Silk Hope Fire Department played a crucial role in planting 14 trees, each representing the remarkable individuals we lost in the tragedy. Their dedication and care in creating a field drop zone for the Children of Fallen Heroes, Parachute Team, including the awe-inspiring Golden Knights Tandem Team, allowed surviving family members to experience a poignant and deeply meaningful tribute. The compassion and professionalism exhibited by the Silk Hope Fire Department were truly exceptional. Their attention to detail and commitment to honoring the fallen heroes and their families was evident in every aspect of their involvement. The seamless coordination and meticulous planning were instrumental in creating a memorable and touching event.
