“Having visited Dr. Bolden just this week for a 1st time visit, she left me with total confidence in her skills and abilities as a physician! Now one of the things that set her apart from her non-Direct Primary Care(and greedily expensive if you have no medical insurance) contemporaries, is the level of patience and time she put into the appointment! No rush, no 'one and done, now get out' treatment that I have witnessed with many other doctors in the past. She listened with complete attentiveness and not only addressed my questions with answers that made sense, she called out issues about my condition that were of glaring concern to her. It will not be long now before potential patients realize that Dr. B and AccessiBULL really is the 'best bet in Durham' for RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE health care!”

“I am also a therapist in the area and have referred many people to see Heather. She is a great therapist to consult with as a professional and clients share that she is great to work with as a therapist. I'm always confident that Heather will be a great fit for the people I send her way. -Lesley Neifert”

“Maggie is the real deal. She’s a great person to get help from, especially if you see yourself as different. She really cares about her clients. She’s authentic, intelligent, knowledgeable, insightful and really hears you. I like that she knows a lot, but doesn’t act like it and is always seeking to learn more. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

“My friends and I came to Avery Family Farm for a private goat yoga event recently and we had the best time! I loved that Amanda let us choose exactly how much yoga we wanted to do - and in the end we opted mostly for just cuddling with all the goats! The goats were very sweet and snuggly and Amanda was very informative, telling us all of the goats names and answering all of our questions. I will definitely be back!”

“I have been working with Karen since the birth of my son. As a woman who was very active and defined herself as an athlete, pregnancy and childbirth created changes in my body I was in no way ready for. Karen has helped me 1. readjust my expectations of my body - which has had such a positive impact on my mental health and 2. helped me build back strength that either was lost or never existed in the first place. Thanks to her help, I was able to pick up Ultimate Frisbee pretty quickly after childbirth AND was given helpful training that showed me how to ease back into a sport that can be so hard on the body without going overboard. Karen does an incredible job of creating a variety of workouts that are both fun and feel individualized based on where you are in your journey. She can adjust on the fly depending on how my body is feeling any given day - and that flexibility has made all the difference. She NEVER judges or shames me (like some trainers in the past) for not being able to do a movement and instead helps me find the right movement to help build back (or rehab the area that was feeling restricted). She is knowledgeable and trustworthy. Karen is an incredible personal trainer and I encourage anyone looking for a trainer, ESPECIALLY postpartum moms, to give her a call.”

“I didn't actually use their services but when I called and described my fairly simple needs of stretcher transport to a doctor appointment and didn't need any medical services on the way, the gentleman was nice enough to let me know that my needs were a little too simple for their setup and equipment resulting in additional charges. He gave me a referral to another company more tailored to my needs and therefore less expensive. That is true integrity and hard to find these days. Instead of just taking my money, the gentlemen cared enough about my situation and had the moral fortitude to refer me somewhere else where I could save money. Hats off First Choice, honesty and integrity in business is hard to find but it looks like you have those bases covered!”

“Before the pandemic I ran in for gift wrap, school supplies, and small garden and hardware items. Clerks have always been nice. Post pandemic they were one of the first stores to have mask and shield protection at check out for employees. Stockers wear mask and step aside to help with distancing. We had 'mandatory mask' for a while and a lady went into store ahead of me without a mask. Clerk was nice about telling her she needed a mask in the store. Said she could not afford one. The black clerk gave the white lady a mask from box behind the counter. Some folks know how to get it right. The whole look of the store has changed. Many people like me make brief trips for essentials. The food cases have more than tripled. Shelf food is everywhere. Someone is thinking. Protection for customers and staff. Stock meets current needs. Staff is there to help. I would like to give a 5 star rating, but store is too small to meet all needs so I have to resort to a bigger store and more time spent, every few weeks.”

“Great Dentist. Had an emergency and she helped me on a Sunday morning get the medication I needed to start healing. Then she saw me on Monday to ensure the situation was under control. Been a patient of hers for years and will continue to be. Very small practice with personal attention which is hard to find these days.”

“Just finished a class. Great atmosphere, instructors, and music. The workouts are efficient and challenging. The climber is low impact but high intensity! A huge plus to keep this as a longer term fitness option. Try a TNP class for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”

“I’ve gone here for a few years now and wish I started sooner! I saw Dr. Kevin religiously when I dislocated my shoulder and he helped with pain management and getting me back to a full range of motion. I now see him once a month as a ‘tune-up’ for low back pain as I’m in the construction industry. Their office staff is helpful and friendly too. And they stay up to date with the latest technology and practices out there! Give them a try!”
