“We had Pauley Cabinets design and install custom built cabinets on either side of our fireplace. They even custom built the wood countertops and exactly matched them to my hardwood floors- we are so pleased with the finished look. Everything came out perfectly- beyond our expectations! The entire team were professional, courteous and skilled.”

“Want to share my experience yesterday. My son is in the open water class. When they went to the deep side of the pool my sons mask would not seal and it freaked him out. The instructor Danny went to the rental gear section and found a scubapro zoom mask with a short skirt that would fit at the top of my sons mustache and spent extra time with my son after class catching him up on the few skills he missed. The care, concern and professionalism was beyond reproach. In my opinion Danny is an excellent instructor. I am extremely pleased and grateful that I choose this facility for my sons first dive certification class.”

Stratford Landscape Supply

Address: 2366 S Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, USA

Store

“I put in an order for 4 yards of sand through the website. The communication was clear, personal and excellent. The sand was delivered the next day, and exactly where we had asked. The driver was careful, polite and prompt. This company is one of the few who A) list prices on their website and B) allow you to order through their website. The transparency in pricing makes planning and ordering so much easier. I will absolutely use this company again.”

“4 6-gallon "Keepsake" mountain laurels arrived in stunningly good condition, considering they spent 5 days being thrown around by UPS (aka Usually Pulverizes Shipment). The driver launched them onto my porch sideways, boxes looking pretty beat up, but only one plant had a little sprig that had broken off. I followed the instructions on the LotsofPlants website to prepare my alkaline (7.5pH) soil. I scraped off and saved my topsoil and dug a a deep trench out of the hard clay below, replaced it with topsoil and pine bark conditioner, and mixed in 4lb of sulfur a month ahead of time to try to get the acidic conditions they like and to give them a place to grow to that's not clay. After planting, I watered them, gave them a tablespoon of slow-release rhododendron food, and then covered with several inches of pine bark mulch. The location pictured gets only a few hours of evening light per day, so hopefully they do well here! My one complaint, and you'll notice this in a lot of reviews, is that the root ball is not very big on these plants. I've included a picture for reference: there's a lot more soil in these pots than there is plant. I guess it's fine since the plants look healthy enough, but my expectation would have been that a six-gallon plant would have had a somewhat larger root ball. If you want that hard-to-find plant that your local nursery doesn't sell, go for it. Lots Of Plants ships a decent plant. Realistically, though, if you can source what you want locally, you should probably do that instead. It'll definitely be cheaper, and you might get a bigger plant too.”

“The staff there were amazing and offered a great experience. They gave me a bunch of free stuff the more I spent and were very informative and friendly. Highly recommend them and I am definitely going to keep my business with them!!”

Your Home Marketplace

Address: 670 S Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, USA

Shopping mall Car repair Store

“WOW! is all I can say. This place is HUGE on the inside (you wouldn’t know it from the outside)! There is a huge variety of home decor to choose from and the prices are really affordable. The staff were very friendly and helpful during my entire visit - they came to check on me regularly and took my items to the front so I didn’t have to carry them the whole time. They held my big items so I could come back with a truck and THEN they even helped me load it. That is what I call true customer service. They made me feel like I was the only customer there (but trust me, I wasn’t). It feels like a true personal shopping experience. Wish I had been shopping here years ago. This place is a must see!!!”

Custom Home Hi-Fi

Address: 660 S Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, USA

Electronics store Store

“Jay and Co., at Custom Home HiFi have put in as many years into their craft as any hometown hero HiFi shop, and it shows. I own another HiFi shop in this town, and Jay's clients (the ones we share) have nothing but the best things to say, and Jay himself has been a welcoming, positive cohort. They go fairly deep into two-channel, and also offer an extensive amount of HT design and installation. It's a lot to do both well, and they do. That shows experience and commitment. Their lines are well-chambered for the local market, and they can handle a wide variety of clients, from the entry level on up. As someone in this industry, I see the thought he's put into his stock lines, and the loyalty of his clients - and am happy to have such a rad, professional shop to share this town with. If you're starting your hunt for HiFi or HT solutions, skip the mass market shops and give these cats a call. They'll do right by you.”
