Burwell School Historic Site

Address: 319 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278, USA

Museum

“This is a Hidden Gem. I have lived here for 55 years and did not know about it. It gives a great historical perspective of life in North Carolina from 1800 to the present time. It's free but they ask for a donation which after seeing how well maintained it is and the knowledge of the tour guide, you have no problem donating. This is one of the best non-profit organizations I have seen relating to the history of North Carolina. It would be great for kids to give them an understanding of the history of this area of North Carolina.”

Orange County Historical Museum

Address: 201 N Churton St, Hillsborough, NC 27278, USA

“Hillsborough is a nice little town not far from Chapel Hill. Lot of history here. Unfortunately there's not much in terms of specialty shops, and its mostly restaurants, with a few that were closed, for what seemed like quite some time. Otherwise the downtown area is small, but clean, with a lot of greenary mixed in which is great on hot days, and there are nice older southern homes, each unique in their own way, making for pleasant walk on the side streets.”

Starbucks

Address: 92-1047 Olani St, Kapolei, HI 96707, USA

“Great service, great drinks 🥰 they even had the cutest Hawaii themed cups & an entire sale section for some of their items.”

Ayr Mount

“Even in a light drizzle, our walk along the mile-long loop was enjoyable. Interesting abandoned native american trading trailway on the northern edge of the property.”
