“We enjoyed living at Chapel View. The amenities are always clean and well taken care of. We loved going to the pool and dog park. There’s also a nice outdoor seating area to grill or relax. The location is very convenient. The apartment was renovated and had new carpet as well. When we first moved in I could not get the dishwasher to work but maintenance came the very next day to fix the problem. Any problems/ questions we had Mr. Kevin or L’Oreal were always happy to help. I can tell the staff really cares about their residents and always goes out of their way to make them feel welcome.”

“We came here for a dinner with friends. The food was pretty good and there was a nice variety of choices. The cocktails were tasty. I do wish there was more consistency between the portion sizes on the meals and appetizers. Pasta was very small and expensive vs some of the other mains. We will probably be back to try it again.”

“Hillsborough is a nice little town not far from Chapel Hill. Lot of history here. Unfortunately there's not much in terms of specialty shops, and its mostly restaurants, with a few that were closed, for what seemed like quite some time. Otherwise the downtown area is small, but clean, with a lot of greenary mixed in which is great on hot days, and there are nice older southern homes, each unique in their own way, making for pleasant walk on the side streets.”

“I lived in Ashbrook for a year in 2019 and I find myself missing it frequently. I had a lovely refurbished apartment with high quality appliances, and was shown the exact unit I would be moving into when touring. The balconies are lovely and it really feels like you are living in the woods. This means you might see a spider every now and then, but by no means did I ever have problems with pests. The bathrooms weren't as updated as the kitchen but they were clean and worked fine. I personally never had to put in a maintenance request, but during the few mandatory maintenance experiences I had the guys were super friendly. They also give you proper notice for such maintenance. During some very stressful times Ashbrook is a very comfortable, relaxing place to call home. Parking was never an issue and at no point during my stay did I feel unsafe. My neighbors had pets and I had no issue with noise, only time I heard them was when I went outside. If I ever move back to the area I would chose to move back to Ashbrook in a heartbeat .A Lovely mix of residents from grad students to families and even elderly couples only further helped to make Ashbrook feel like a community, even if you keep to yourself like I did. While not walkable to downtown the bus stops right outside the complex and Chapel Hill has a wonderful free public transportation system.”

“This is a wonderful place to live. A small apartment community nestled in trees and sunshine. The majority of residents here are very respectful, peaceful and quiet. The neighborhood is safe to walk around with kids or by yourself. People watch out for crime here and report suspicious behavior to authorities right away. I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with my neighbors. The new management is great! They are very attentive and responsive to residents needs and they are doing their best to make changes and renovate the buildings. Yes there are cons, like bugs and lots of bees during the warmer months. But this is the south and at least Chambers Ridge try’s to keep up with the state wide insect issue. I highly recommended this place for students, couples, or anyone who wants peace, quiet and safety. I’ll be renewing my lease for sure.”
