“I had the pleasure to tour during one of their open house weekends. It's currently maintained by the Friends of Sauratown Mountains. They shared it's history with us and there was an informative video at the start. It was fascinating to tour it as is and try to imagine it in its original glory. Apparently, next year they're doing badly needed renovations so I hope to come back in the future to see the work. Beware, if you go in the summer, it's very hot inside and out! The hike to the mineral water house isn't too hard, but it is a walk down and hence, up hill on the way back, plus can be buggy in the summer (be prepared). It's hard to see the dam and water wheel through the vegetation in the summer too.”

“Such a neat place to stay! It would be perfect for multi-generational families to stay in together, as there are two parts of the house, each with their own kitchen and bathroom. Many touches to make it more homey.”
