“This is by far the best meat around. All of the meat beef is raised by by the owners, Preston and Emily Cave. We found it totally by accident driving by and are planning another trip back this weekend, and it's an hour drive for us (that says it all!). If you know what you are looking for there is plenty of prime grade beef to be had, and boy was it delicious. We dealt with Preston, the owner. He is a very personable, and down to earth man, willing to answer any questions that you might have as to the raising, the homemade feed recipe, and the slaughter facility used. All meats are federally inspected. They also sell whole or half sides of beef, as well as live animals. If you live anywhere near them you MUST stop by at least once, "especially" if you are planning a large oudoor party, your meet will be the talk of the party. I really can't say enough about the quality of the meat. We are so glad we were traveling on that road on our way back from visiting some wineries earlier in the day. They are open on Saturdays from 8am until 1pm, and ANY OTHER DAY by appointment.”

“I got a flat which was my own fault because I knew I needed tires but kept putting it off. Of course it happened at the worst possible time. Leaving for my much awaited weekend birthday trip at the Casino, we hadn't made it 20 miles down the highway when my right rear tire completely split and went flat. Luckily I had run flats and was able to get to an exit and into a safe place off the road. I called several very close places asking if they had my size tire, planning to drive there on the runflats if they did. No one did except Parrish, but only at their warehouse. I thought I was out of luck and would need to be towed home because I was afraid that was too far to drive on the runflats, but then they told me they have a Mobile service and they could go to the warehouse, pick up the tires and come to me to change them! I thought that was a fabulous idea but would surely cost me an arm and a leg. NOPE! The Mobile service is an incredibly reasonable $35!!! So I just decided to go ahead and have them change all 4 since I was planning to do it anyway, I'd just been too busy. Now i wouldn't have to make an appt and go back another day. Roughly 2 hours later I had 4 new tires and was on my way ! I might just do the Mobile service next time I need new tires just for the amazing convenience!!”

“They were SO AWESOME! Plants had been put aside and were waiting for us when we got there. They have houseplants, vegetable starter plants, herbs, various types of roses, grasses, & succulents.... and that's just the plants! All of the plants were strong, healthy, and vibrant. No need to buy a set of 4 hoping that you'll get two good plants. If you buy 4, all of the plants in that set will be viable and produce. They had specific varieties of tomatoes, peppers, etc that I haven't been able to find between Cana, Dobson, Mt Airy, and Pilot... all in one place. They even had an herb I had never seen nor heard of, as well as a different color of one of my favorite plants that I had never seen before. Definitely planning to go back within the next week to check out the actual produce for sale. And their prices can't be beat. If all of that wasn't enough, I was informed that they're inventory on this particular day was "just to get started" and that they would be "getting a lot more plants really soon" (as in deliveries 4 times a week). BTW: I do not have any prior knowledge it personal relationship with the owners/staff. I have not been hired or given anything to write this review. I just felt so strongly about their superior product, low prices, and customer service far above & beyond their duty that I just had to stop and take the time write this review. I feel it's only fair considering that I would put the same time & effort into writing a negative review if my experience there had been negative.”

“Every time we go to The Farm in Dobson, NC, we have a wonderful time. The kids are entertained with all the activities they have. They have a few animals there to see but not a lot. The mazes are the main attraction and they do not disappoint. They have a tractor ride that is also a lot of fun in the winter time. The Santa Claus experience was amazing. I would definitely recommend going.”

“Nice place to do laundry! I came on a Monday morning and only one other person was here, Which was great! What's worse than getting up the energy to go do.laundry and walk into a crowded laundromat and have to wait for a washer or dryer. They have detergent etc to purchase if needed. The few games they had were not in working order which was kinda sad but I'm hoping that someday soon they will be because I love quarter push machines BIG PLUS SIDE- Free wifi- Food lion is next door to get your grocery shopping done while you do laundry AND wells Fargo ATM Plus McDonald's in case you want a bite to eat. Prices to wash and dry are basically similar to others around town. 8$ for big washers and 4$ for small A quarter gets you 5 minutes in the dryer I believe. (I should have paid closer attention) sorry about that. Over all I would say it's a great place to come do laundry ! If you're in need of a laundromat. Stop on by”
