“Great trailhead to park at. You can go south to the yadkin river which is only a couple miles or so or north to pilot mountain which is 6.6 miles. Beautiful hike either way. I went to pilot and found grapes were in season along the trail. Fantastic snack!”

“Large lot that may hold 30 or so cars but less at times as horse trailers take up some space. Trash cans as well as bathrooms are here (no running water). The gate here is never closed so if you wanted to begin your hike before the signage of 8:30 am, you can. I always do. The lot is the northernmost trailhead for the 6.6 mile Corridor Trail and the southernmost access for the Mountain Trail.”
