“The African American cashier was EXTREMELY rude to my 69 year old mother today. My mother tried to purchase scratch offs for me and originally asked for the wrong thing and then she remembered and said “oh I’m sorry, not those, I want these instead.” The lady became ill with her and made her stand off to the side while she waited on the other customers. Then she came back to my mom and said “give me the $20!” And my mom thought she had already and said she thought so and the lady just was screaming about how she didn’t get the money yet and yelling about my mom was trying gnto steal from them and made my mom leave the store!! She treated my mother like a criminal when she is just a very forgetful, easily confused 69 year old women. I called to tell her my mom is not a thief and I could not get in a word because this lady screamed at me for two whole minutes and then had the nerve to call me back to say her boss said I didn’t ever have to come back there, like, really? Not only will I not come back, but I’ll be sure everyone knows how we were treated. I hope her boss gets her anger management classes and she could use some social skills too. ****edit: I originally gave one star, but the owner was so nice that I changed it to 4. Thankfully he left his number here to find and I was able to speak with him.”

“Our current favorite place for brunch! Love their Bloody Mary bar and the fish and chips are the best! The batter is light and crunchy and the fish is always perfectly cooked! The corned beef and cabbage is pretty good. The French onion soup is reliably delicious and their brunch fare is impressive. “We are so glad to have had Persis cater our wedding events. The food was so delicious! Half of our guests were from out of town, mostly the Northeast/New Jersey area, and so many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they'd ever tasted. The live dosa station was a hit and the chef even helped recreate dishes native to our area of India, including a jackfruit curry. It has been months since our wedding, and people are still telling me how much they loved the food. We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding weekend such a success!”

“This is the place you're looking for. Seriously. I had a favorite Chinese restaurant that I've gone to for years. (I still go occasionally but it's farther from where I live). The Singapore curry noodles is not oily at all and full of spicy flavor. Love it. I've also had the Orange Chicken. They use real orange slices, the amount of sauce was perfect, and the chicken still had good crunch. Fast and polite service.”

“As always Dames didn't disappoint! We dined in on Resurrection Sunday and it was so divine. Great food, great vibes. The host was SPECTACULAR! We had about a 35 min wait due to it being Easter. That was fine because we sat outside in the nice cool shade. The place was packed. Great sign! We were sat by the front window which I loved because it was so beautiful outside. The weather was perfect. Everything was perfect. My husband mom and I enjoyed our time there. We all had the Carolina Cockerel: 3 Wings, original Waffle(I had the vegan waffle and babyyyyy...delicious) with Mac and cheese. I will say I am not a fan of their Mac n cheese. It's a little on the bland side. It's not your typical down south Mac. But we downed it with Sweet tea! I did also notice the slight difference in the menu prices. Whew chile. My meal alone was 20.00! During the week its more inexpensive but hey I get it. Worth the visit!”

“A mishap turned into a blessing! So long story short: my friend came over and treated me to vegetable chow mein from another establishment however what I was expecting was not at all what I got. So at the last minute I was able to order Vegetable Lo Mein from Luck 7 for the 1st time and I am delighted to say it exceeded my expectations! The taste was flavorful; Non-greasy; along with FRESH vegetables including zucchini which was a splendid surprise. I ordered a Large (quart) and ate 3/4 of it by myself. Then when I woke up the following morning I finished the rest off 😋. (Vegetables included are: Broccoli, Carrots, Mushrooms, Cabbage, Celery, Zucchini and Peppers) As a vegan I am so glad to have tried this place and I will be ordering again!!”
