“This was my introduction into orthodoxy and Christianity. The congregation is full of love for Christ and one another as sinners under grace. I truly felt a sense of community here and for the first time began to understand the lords abundant mercy (or briefly grasped it). It is small and intimate, but growing, praise god. It is full of converts and cradle orthodox, even some Russian immigrants. Everyone expresses an interest in one another and I always look forward to hour long conversations after the liturgy with new people or familiar members that push the highest ideals forward and genuinely care about you as an individual with good food and coffee. The body of Christ is present here in this spirit filled congregation. Father Patrick and lee are shining examples of humility and faithful love. Wisdom, humility and love shine through in the talks or sermon. They know the struggles of sin in contemporary life and address it with the logos and make it simple to understand. I miss attending and am excited to return from my trip to the holy land to become reacquainted with the spiritual growth and development I experienced while briefly attending here.
