“For water-related or dry-land activity: this park seems to draw fresh air enthusiasts for all kinds of fun. Just waking the perimeter at a leisurely pace is a fine--and can be a largely shady--amble on a hot day. Families with small kids will find fascinating diversions along a stroll around the lake, like spotting plants, or watching turtles, fish, or water birds in the shallow fringes of the water from a low cross-over walkway or platform. *For little ones with water-puddle shoes there are opportunities to splash and stomp for joy in the puddles that appear along walkway margins after a rain. It will be better when all facilities are fully open, but even now it's a great spot for all kinds of outdoor pursuits, including picnicking, running, or walking the dogs, at any energy level you choose. *(We wish we could do that, too).”

“So my girlfriend and I came down here on vacation from New York State. We were staying in Cary North Carolina and decided to come check out this park because it had some good reviews. This was a very beautiful Park and loved the hike around the lake. The boardwalk was really cool to walk and crossed and seen tons of wildlife was really cool as well. I definitely would recommend this place to other people”

“A shorter hole disc golf course with lots of elevation changes. I'm visiting from out of town and this is probably one of the most fun courses I've played in my travels. Not to much in the way of signage but the locals put me in the right direction. I played on a Sunday and it gets a little busy but absolutely worth it.”

“Cool park with a nice playground. Not a HUGE playground, but still nice and modern and well kept. Has some creative features to it for climbing. Then the park also has cool paved pathways over hills and walkways. There’s a BEAUTIFUL circle grove of dogwood style trees with the white blossoms. Is a very nice park for a visit!”

“My husband and I brought our new dog, WALL-E here for his first visit to the dog park. This park made it a comfortable place to start, since we were able to start him off with the small dog area first. Once we observed that he was open to more, we were able to bring him over to the large dog area as well. This park has beautiful scenery, trails for hiking and plenty of space for walking and playing. On our way in, we came across a Girl Scout’s stand selling cookies! Very nice park and community.”
