“This being the only Dollar general out here I live down the street I've been going there for about 6 years I've seen a lot of people come and go but there's one person in particular his name is Donald I don't know the last name but I think he's a manager he is absolutely amazing he always make sure I get what I need if I'm looking for something he will find it he bought my Waters out and put them in the car for me without me even asking or he's always just been super duper kind and caring. Every time I go my experience is awesome they have the best staff right now miss Marcy Michaela and my other buddy I can't remember his name right now wears glasses I called him boo LOLhe knows who he is I just love going there I'm always treated almost like a family give that man a raise!!! All the staff there right now hargray they almost feel like a family member to me.😊”

“Stopped for gas on our way to Southern Supreme and decided to grab a bite to eat at the grill. They ran out of hamburger meat while we were in line but the burgers looked delicious. Meat is delivered by a local butcher. We had Brightleaf hot dogs and onion rings which were very good. Had the opportunity to sit and chat with the owner who said their bbq is cooked locally as well. He also suggested local potteries to visit and what to try at Southern Supreme. Excellent experience. Highly recommended.”

“I visited here on 1/22/21 around 9:15pm solely to use the bathroom. The bathroom was somewhat dirty. You couldnt use the paper towels, there was tissue on the floor, and there was water bottles around the toilet. While I was leaving and taking pictures, I heard the cashier and a customer talking about the mega millions jackpot, which there is a drawing tonight and the jackpot is $1 billion! I don’t think imma win, at all... but hey, if I don’t play, I’ll 100% won’t win. I bought 5 tickets lol. They are $2 a piece. This is the first time I’ve ever played the lottery besides scratch off tickets. The location is a quick detour off the highway. The cashier was not wearing a mask, but he was behind the clear plastic screen, so I guess it makes it better ? 🤷♂️ Gas is $2.23 for regular, $2.83 for plus, and $3.03 doe V-Power Nitro”

“I drive from the coast to the mountains around once a month. I usually make a point to stop at this station to fill up each way. It usually has the cheapest good quality gas on my route. This time it was especially busy because the gas was $.20 cheaper than surrounding stations. At this time, more than ever, every penny counts when purchasing gas, especially when traveling across the state. I didn't stop inside, but the people are usually helpful and polite. I have stopped at all hours and can't think of a time I've regretted my stop.”

Even after the restaurant has closed the locals will still come in, gather at the tables grab a snack and a drink read the paper and chat. It's cozy and a friendly place. 🙂”
