“Best experience at the Tarheel Pharmacy. Wanted to get my covid booster before travel cross country but no availability at all the bigger drugstores in town. I called here and they said they would be happy to give me the vaccine and to come in anytime while they were open. The paperwork was easy and quick, the people who work there were all friendly and efficient, and the pharmacist gave me my immunization within a few minutes of my arrival. So pleased and being able to support a local business made me feel even better!”

My folks planning a visit here; issues with a prescription renewal in their hometown came up. I told her to call Dave and perhaps she could pick up the prescription here. Dave spent 15 minutes on the phone with my mother trying to solve something for her. She called me and openly wept. Never has a pharmacist taken the time to do something like this. “The ladies in the pharmacy are so nice. The store is clean and well organized. They always have something on sale. Walgreens always used to get the vibe that they’re expensive. Some things I agree are. But unlike say Food lion , when Walgreens has a sale they don’t raise the price of the item first. So when it’s a bogo sale it really is a good deal. I’ve gotten so many children’s pain reliever from bogo. Also their Walgreens brand is top notch. They always have toys on sale and medicines. They have an advertised item of the day at a cheap price when you walk in door. Things there are very unique. I’ve gotten stocking stuffers and home decor items. I love Walgreens! Side note - yesterday traffic was bad and I live off Cleveland road so it was easier for me not to cross over and I went to cvs. Only second time I’ve been there in the two years I’ve lived here. It was around 5:30. I went for soothing tablets for my granddaughter. Selection was horrible. Nothing on sale. Everything so expensive. I unfortunately had to go to the restroom. I say unfortunately because it stunk to high heaven in there. One toilet in restroom and it had feces rubbed on toilet seat. Amazing how this is a health store and has a toilet like that. So I go to write a review and there is no place to make one. They got lucky there. Go to Walgreens. It’s worth it.”

“This review is for the PHARMACY- It bothers me that there are bad reviews on here, and they don't even apply to the pharmacy part🤦♀️... I always get my rx filled at this store. Very rarely is there ever a line, staff is always super friendly and helpful, and products are always there. Plus, they have a drive through! I hate waiting in lines and having to go inside the store at other walmarts in the area (I have little kids and it's so nice to keep them in the car!).”

You will find at Uptown Pharmacy a caring friendly face,FAST SERVICE And NO LONG LINE at drive thru.You will not get told it will take 5 hour’s to fill meds. Walmart also has an automated phone system that calls you when you get close to needing a refill. You can also call in your refills per automated system. The Pharmacist are very professional and knowledgeable on offering options and how each of my prescriptions may possibility affect me and how to interact each prescriptions when taken together. By taking some in morning and a different type at night. The Pharmacist Nathan, Kristen and Keta with their support staff Dipesh, Michelle and Marty are just second to none. What I really like is there is no turn over. So you are rest assured you will always have someone you are familiar and feel comfortable discussing you heath care needs with.
