“I'm taking away one star for the way the head pharmacist snapped at me yesterday. I noticed the head pharmacist talking to a customer. I thought that was odd as I've never seen her do that before. When it was my turn, I talked to a tech to get my insulin. He started asking .questions I never heard before. Then he called the head pharmacist who came up to She started Asking If I have ever used insulin before told her that was an odd question And she snapped at me saying ' "I,m just asking you a question!" I toldher I've used it for 25 years and she snapped again" I'm just doing my job!" They're usually really great there but something must be going on where Kroger has told them to ask all these questions and she's being pulled away from her job all day.”

Even when the message was not good news they delivered it in a very professional and caring way. This type of care and comfortable environment led us to move my mother in law into a beautiful cottage on Mount Pleasant's campus. Dealing with the loss of your spouse and the move to a new environment was tough, but Mount Pleasant offers so many activities that she has settled in quite well!”

Shelly, the front office staff, is so personable to ensure the patient is prepared for the visit. I relocated and had difficulty accessing a provider to keep me on track for my routine dental care. The staff helped me to overcome a negative experience with another local provider. In my professional experience, Shelly, Angie, and Dr. Martinez displayed aspects of patient-centered care that are sometimes missing in healthcare encounters. They were highly sensitive to my concerns and responded to all of my questions with care, compassion, and competence. I informed Dr. Martinez that Angie—hygienist—needs a raise and a day off. “Went in today and it was packed. Everyone seemed to know each other and I assumed a company sent everyone in for drug screenings. Knowing that we decided to stay and we were taken back after about 40 min which is quick for an urgent care. Everyone seemed a little overwhelmed but were very friendly and professional. “Our cat had not been eating very well, and my vet of many years was unable to work us in until the following week, but he needed to be seen. Monroe Family Pet Hospital gave me the option to be an add on the same day I called if I was willing to wait in my car for when they could work me in. They told me I may need to wait for awhile, but were very willing to make it happen if I could be flexible. From Monday through Friday during the course of his treatment and surgery, every aspect of their service was professional, caring and consistent. Dr. Reed was the main doctor that followed his care. She is a rock star! I highly recommend this facility! Excellence!”
