“It's not much, but it's pleasant and convenient when walking the Lomond neighborhood. There are picnic tables and a chess table, and few things for the kids to climb on. No dogs allowed. This park is the occasional site of Shaker public works free events and other social events. It's also the neighborhood hang of some of the older kids after school on nicer days.”

“Literally amazing. Play ground for kids (fenced in) with area for smaller kids and then bigger area with lots of climbing and stairs. There are slides, swings, mini rock wall, monkey bars. Kids loved it. The castle park has a great view of Augusta Lake (which has a 4 mile walking path around it). Only improvement needed is accessible bathrooms (there's bathrooms by the splash pad, sign on door said it was locked due to vandalism).”

“A really nice public park. Part of the Metro Parks of Berea and surrounding areas. Plenty of picnic tables and grills. We walked along the banks of Wallace Lake to the beach area . Very tranquil in the afternoon. Lots of parking. There is an ice cream shop in the concession building but it is closed due to Covid-19. Not sure if the restrooms were open .”

“This was our first time here, (my wife and 4 year old). He had no problems walking the trails. Great place for some nice short hikes. The paths were well marked and were nice and clear. We saw a lot of chipmunks and squirrels, and 1 deer on our loop trail hike. We will definitely be back again.”

“We walked from the Center-Park parking area to the Dentzler Trailhead and back. Nice trail, some low spots are still wet but you don't need boots. Trail is pretty well maintained and the bridges are in excellent shape. Metroparks is doing a nice job of caretaking. Recommended”
