“Trainer Mike did a fantastic job with our two dogs. He is amazing at reading what dogs are trying to tell us and gave us a ton of guidance. Thanks to him, we can now have visitors over without hours of barking. Cannot recommend him enough!!”

“We are blessed with wonderful parks in Delaware county, and Deer Havenisour favorite! My family loves the diversity in walking areas (like the boardwalk). The visitor center is good for so much more than a bathroom, but those are always tidy and operational which is important. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly as well!”

“Clean, pleasant small park adjacent to the Powell (Delaware County) public library. Baseball diamond, several soccer goals, walking paths that tie into the surrounding neighborhood, a small shelter house with picnic tables and restrooms, a playground and 2 small racquet courts. Typically not very crowded.”

“Fun place! It’s great that there is playground equipment not far from the splash pad. The combo is great for kids who get bored and want to do something different for a while, then switch back. Pretty good amount of seating for parents and a snack bar.”

“Great campground! Super employees! We love our site. Had dinner delivered from the on-site cafe, husband loved the burger and my Spaghetti with meatballs was delicious. They even called me this morning to see if we wanted to extend our stay. The people who reserved our site for Saturday canceled and we were given the opportunity to extend before the site was offered on the website. Wow! We will definitely come back!”

“Have you ever felt like you found the best thing in the world? That’s exactly how I felt the moment I drove into this amazing campground. It is absolutely gorgeous. I could list all the amenities and activities but what is most important to me is how you feel here. Growing up, my parents took myself and three brothers camping all over the country. We camped in 46 different states and probably at least 500 different campgrounds. Berkshire is now #1 on my list of greatest campgrounds ever. You can tell the owners, staff and campers here want everyone to love their stay. There are tons of things to do and the park is so beautiful. I wish I could put into words the feeling I have every time I pull into the driveway. It instantly makes you smile and has every stress or worry instantly melt away. I am so incredibly grateful for all they have done for me here and being the happiest I have ever been in 53 years. Thank you Berkshire. Thank you so very much.”

“Nice park for little explorers! Lots to do. We went after it rained so everything was wet but it seemed to be a great place. My child loved all the options of play areas.”

“This is the perfect creek for playing. Safe for toddlers and fun for older kids. It's a gorgeous, unique setting with beautiful shale and 'concretions' (huge, round rocks) throughout the water. Natural play areas all throughout. Also, beautiful, shaded walking trails.”

“Last stop on a 7,000 mile road trip and was our favorite park. Great sunsets every night. All the facilities are well maintained and kept clean. Free wifi (that actually works). Free laundry. Great walking trails. Amazing staff who are always buzzing around the park working. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

“Excellent way to connect with nature. Great trails, farm animals, and other fine ways to enjoy a semi- curated experience of a working farm. Great volunteers and so much wonderful leaning for the kids.”

“Really neat park. It's got a pond that you can go fishing in. It has soccer fields, a couple baseball diamonds, two tennis courts, two volley ball courts, basketball courts and 4 pickle ball courts. They also have a pretty sizable playground for kids. Lots of parking and they also have lights for most of the different courts so that you can play when it gets dark. Very well put together park with plenty to do. Only downside is it's not bigger to accommodate more people.”

“Nice park unless it's been raining for more than a day then it's a mud pit, usually not very crowded.”

“Walking this trail daily brings much peace and solitude as the cattails and reeds blow in the breeze, the turtles sun their shells, the fish jump for a bite, and the occasional blue heron and muskrat make an appearance. The trails and surroundings are kept nicely groomed - thank you Delaware!”

“Nice playground and plenty of green space to place. Also tennis courts and we'll maintained restroom”
Address: 745 N Spring Rd, Westerville, OH 43082, USA
“We love this park! It is very long so it can be hard to keep track of multiple kids. The walking ramp goes all the way through from one end to another - but there are several high ways to get on and off so beware for younger kids who might try to be adventurous beyond their skill set. It is easier to walk up on the ramp with them than to try and climb up before they try to climb down.”

“This is a very nice park! There are picnic tables and very nice fishing spots. There are a few short trails that go through the woods. It is good place to find mushrooms.”

“Big beautiful park. Safe, good parking, lots to do and nice trails. Better access for non-drivers via more trails and sidewalks would help.”

“It is indeed a woods. Quiet, peaceful. Has a bridge with creek running under it. Lovely perennial garden with park benches. Walking paths are easy to follow. A real nature wonderland in a small, close-to-town space. Also has an interesting history engraved on a beautiful monument.”

“What an experience! The air was crisp. The lake was peaceful, and the steps were worth it. I 💛 the Life of a Drop of Water! A drop enters the Alum Creek in Kilbourne and takes 220 days to flow over the dam. Then it takes 3 days to arrive at the Ohio River in Portsmouth. Alum Creek Lake Beach is 3,000 feet long making it the LONGEST inland beach in Ohio! The dam was built in 1974 & has prevented $176 million in flood damages. During the 1860's the Alum Creek was the main artery in Central Ohio's underground railroad. I took a peek into Africa, Ohio.”

“One of the best Christmas light displays around central Ohio. It is easy to get in and out of. Even when they're busy (which is everyday) it moves along but I'd highly recommend coming during the week and avoiding the weekend as it's much busier during the weekend, it is also $10 cheaper through the week. The cost is $20/car weekdays and $30/car weekends. It takes about 20-25 minutes to drive through the entire thing so in my opinion it is definitely worth the money. There are a lot of different Christmas lights with most having some sort of theme to them. They're all LED I believe, they look LED anyways because of how bright and nice they look. They have an FM radio station that plays Christmas music while you drive through (88.3 FM is the station FYI). All in all I HIGHLY suggest coming here with your kids and family if you enjoy Christmas lights! Well worth the drive, well worth the money!!!”

“Our family had a brunch here, and it was so nice! Great pavilion and beautiful natural surroundings... Lake, etc. Nice red Barn. Plenty of parking. Lots of open space for the kids to have fun. I believe it has to be reserved in advance.”
Address: 10567 Sawmill Pkwy # 102, Powell, OH 43065, USA
“Nice selection on equipment that toddlers and older children can enjoy. Shade in the equipment made it more pleasurable. There was one broken rung on the chain ladder but it was still safe to climb. The grass hadn't been mown recently but with all these rains I'm sure it's hard to keep up. The picnic shelter and 6 hoop basketball court were in good shape.”
