“Columbus State's library is a fantastic place on Campus! They have textbooks students can check out within the library for 2 hours, which is way cheaper than buying the textbook. I usually will study with a textbook on the third floor which is completely quiet. They also have study rooms which is great for study groups or group projects! The Writing lab within it is also amazing to help get feedback on paper assignments. They also have a quick print station as your walk in on the first floor to print of paper assignments or quick on the go things for class. They have lots of computers on the second floor for students to help and even have awesome librarians who help assist in many ways but the most help to me has been with research papers and helping me find resources! I can always depend on the library for great help!”

“This is a very open library, with various areas that serve kids, teens, and adults. There is a computer lab and a quiet study space, and a space designated for homework help. There is a lot of seating for students who are looking to study. Lots of windows, which makes it a wonderful library. There is “snack time” for any child under 18, which is a nice service. Their announcements before the library closes are very thorough and informative; the would announce when the library will close in an hour, and let the customers know to arrange rides or call their parents for pickup if needed.”

“The Columbus Metropolitan Library - Linden Branch was renovated and expanded back in 2015. The expansion more than doubled the size of the library, which has led to more programs and services for those in the community. The library has upwards of 20 computers that can be used free of charge, several shelves worth of books and other reading materials, and study areas. Whenever I have visited the Linden branch, it has always been full of young children and adolescents. Many of them talk loudly and occasionally run around. This, however, does not bother me, as I prefer to see the kids in my community safe and laughing inside of a library. Staff members are kind and courteous and provide a safe environment for kids and adults, that enable them to learn and work. My only suggestions are that the library obtain a greater number and wider variety of books, as well as additional quiet/study rooms. Hopefully, the City of Columbus can make that happen by investing more time and funding into the Linden library.”
