“Love this branch! The librarians are incredibly helpful and kind. The entire place is very well kept amd relaxing. Can get a little noisy when the kids come in to "study" 😉 but again the librarians do a great job and walking the floor and keeping things under control.”

“Always A great place to go. They have a lot of books, you can get on the computer, you can do printing and copying work. I believe they also have events for children, we have to check the website for that”

Address: 4500 Hickory Chase Way, Hilliard, OH 43026, USA
“The Hilliard public library branch is an intellectual treasure and truly a new gym in the Columbus Ohio area. This place is new clean very modern very customer friendly and the staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. Features that one will really like is the four reserve parking spots for curbside pick up. With this very easily accessible program you pull into the reserve spot call the library let them know you’re there to pick up your reserved article or book and they will bring it out to you. This feature was intended for public health but I could see how it would be incredibly beneficial for anybody with any kind of disability or she really likes convenience. By all means consider this place a thumbs up it’s awesome and you will love it.”

“Columbus State's library is a fantastic place on Campus! They have textbooks students can check out within the library for 2 hours, which is way cheaper than buying the textbook. I usually will study with a textbook on the third floor which is completely quiet. They also have study rooms which is great for study groups or group projects! The Writing lab within it is also amazing to help get feedback on paper assignments. They also have a quick print station as your walk in on the first floor to print of paper assignments or quick on the go things for class. They have lots of computers on the second floor for students to help and even have awesome librarians who help assist in many ways but the most help to me has been with research papers and helping me find resources! I can always depend on the library for great help!”

“I attended a meeting recently [2-8-2020] at Westland Area Library. I rarely travel that far west on W. Broad St. but my Uber driver and I eventually found that library in an unexpected location in the middle of a shopping center. My recent meeting at Westland Area Library had been sponsored by the Ohio chapter of Affirmation, "a community of support for LGBTQ Mormons and their family and friends inclusive of all along the spectrums of sexual orientation, gender identity, faith, and relationship with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." I greatly appreciate the fact that the Westland Area Library had provided space for members of that community [and also for those who have been excommunicated from that community] to share their stories with each other and also with several others who had been in attendance. The meeting room at the Westland Area Library had been great except that that room is very close to a noisy entrance lobby [with mostly-reflective walls] with the result that the multiple sounds in that lobby, amplified by a long hallway that has reflective walls, had made it difficult for me to hear much of what had been said during my recent meeting. The door to the meeting room is always locked [and it is impossible to unlock that door before leaving], which caused me to have to knock on a locked door in order to be able to re-enter the meeting room after having briefly left that room during the middle of my recent meeting. The Westland Area Library is not a Columbus Metropolitan Library. However, the computers at that library look exactly like the computers at the Columbus Metropolitan Library and a Columbus Metropolitan Library card will work for patrons who want to use those computers. Patrons of the Westland Area Library, as I understand it, have full access to Columbus Metropolitan Library's resources.”

“This is a very open library, with various areas that serve kids, teens, and adults. There is a computer lab and a quiet study space, and a space designated for homework help. There is a lot of seating for students who are looking to study. Lots of windows, which makes it a wonderful library. There is “snack time” for any child under 18, which is a nice service. Their announcements before the library closes are very thorough and informative; the would announce when the library will close in an hour, and let the customers know to arrange rides or call their parents for pickup if needed.”
Address: 2800 Tremont Rd, Upper Arlington, OH 43221, USA
“This is a larger library with many spaces and tables for students to pursue studying, and there is are computers for use, and a great kids section. Large selection of books and media. There is also a large basement with more seating area. Lots of natural lighting during the day. Overall, a very nice library. Only complaint is my group was forced to move from a study area for passport services. There clearly was NOT a sign on the table indicating the table was reserved, and the was NOT a sign indicating that passport services were being held at the time. Please put a notice or sign on reserved tables so visitors don’t have to be forced to move from their place. EDIT; The issue is, there was not a clear sign, and the staff member rudely rushed and forced us to move while our group was working intensely. A more permanent sign would be ideal for this fix.”

“Very accessible, and good selection of reading material.”

“The Columbus Metropolitan Library - Linden Branch was renovated and expanded back in 2015. The expansion more than doubled the size of the library, which has led to more programs and services for those in the community. The library has upwards of 20 computers that can be used free of charge, several shelves worth of books and other reading materials, and study areas. Whenever I have visited the Linden branch, it has always been full of young children and adolescents. Many of them talk loudly and occasionally run around. This, however, does not bother me, as I prefer to see the kids in my community safe and laughing inside of a library. Staff members are kind and courteous and provide a safe environment for kids and adults, that enable them to learn and work. My only suggestions are that the library obtain a greater number and wider variety of books, as well as additional quiet/study rooms. Hopefully, the City of Columbus can make that happen by investing more time and funding into the Linden library.”
