Medium walking up and down, all natural trails . Bathroom can use some work, nice place for a quiet walk.
The only reason this has 4 stars is because the trails can be SUPER muddy and it takes them a long time to dry. Other than that it's one of my favorites. It does what a lot of parks I've seen in Geauga and Lake County can't do, it makes me feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere, at least a little.
Fun for a quick walk on a fairly rough trail that's not all flat. Take the Bridge Trail to the Sugarbush Trail loop, and it's about a mile of undulating terrain through Oak-Beech-Popular-Hemlock uplands. Very Northeast Ohio headwater-snowbelt-upland ecosystem.
This is a beautiful small park in rural geauga county. It retains its wild nature with only foot worn trails. The only downside is that there is but 1.1 mi of trails in the whole park
Gorgeous, tucked away park that has a trail that spans in about a 1.5 mile loop. There are lots of stairs and plenty of roots on the trail, so watch your footing. Primitive bathrooms are on site.
