“My friend who brought me kayaking says the input to the lake used to be a lot nicer and looked like most of it had washed away, there was very little room to launch from and made landing difficult for. I hope y'all are able to refresh that part soon as it makes launching and landing very difficult. But otherwise, it's absolutely gorgeous there! It was a great place to be a newbie on the water! It looked like a great place for families since there were a bunch on the main dock and shored areas. I can't wait to go back. Honestly 5 stars.”

“Very nice views. In this area of Winton woods you will find multiple shelters with clean restrooms nearby. You can also access the walking path from this area of the park. Playground areas, open field areas, and areas designated for parking are also in Harper Meadows. You need a parking permit for any area of the park. The permit can be purchased for $3 daily, $10 annually.”

“My experience with Arlington Memorial Gardens was wonderful. Lauren helped me design my mom's head stone and took me out to the grave site twice. She gave me all the information I needed.”

“This is one of my favorite trails at the park, especially when the weather has been a little wet. The path is well-maintained and covered with woodchips, so most of it is dry at all times. This has become my go-to trail for a nice relaxing getaway to nature in the city.”

“Nice open field park for soccer, baseball and has b-ball courts. Kid area. Restroom. I wonder how many people may remember that the Palo Alto Drive-In Theatre was here up to early'70 when there was a drive-in at almost every other US 101 exit !!”

“This Park is one of the best kept and wonderfully restored historical sites I've ever visited, not only in Texas, but the entire nation. You can take a volunteer tour of Independence Hall, visit displays and go through the store in one area. Next up is the Star of Texas Museum. A 20 minute video is worth your time before enjoying the two story museum. It's amazing how much they have on display and the depth of what's available. The grounds are also beautiful. We spent an easy 3 hours here and I'd suggest allotting at least that much time. Be sure to bring a picnic as not much is available close by.”
