Hinckley Lake Boathouse

I only parked here and used the restroom to check out the dam across the way. The restroom had a flushing toilet which was nice and both of the restrooms I used in the area had hand sani so that was awesome. The area was clean, didn't see any litter. Had a very nice and peaceful time.

The kayaking in the calm waters with surrounding colorful leaves, with a variety of waterfowl was relaxing and peaceful. The 3 mile hiking trail around the lake was exuberating. I was also able to see the beaver dams. You have to visit this beautiful Cleveland Metro Park!!!

Great place to go hiking! There are several trails to explore. Some our paved/gravel and others are forest trails. You can also go They have rentals if you don't have your own. You can enjoy a picnic in the area and they also sell snacks and drinks. If you aren't too tired you can hike one of the many trails (paved and gravel). Awesome

Make sure to wear a mask to check in and book online ahead of time!!! A popular spot for kayaks and stand up paddles. Booking and signing waivers online was super easy. Took maybe 10 minutes. I rented a tandem and we were able to check in safely. Quick and friendly service launching us into the lake making sure to give a good overview and asked if we had any questions before we went out. Good price for a great time outdoors. Well maintained equipment and they sprayed everything down with disinfectant once we returned.

They also have access to trails, picnic tables, and grills nearby. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here. Only downside is there isn’t always adequate parking right near the boathouse. There are other lots but not as convenient or close.
