Infirmary Mound Park

This is a nice park with a pond, swing sets, and a fairy trail. We also saw several deer while on the fairy trail. This park has no admission fee, so it's a great place for families.

Love the dog park at Infirmary Mound Park! Wide open spaces with plenty of room to zoom! There are three spaces -- small dogs, large dogs, and a special use area. The fencing is very secure with no potential for escapes. Water is available just outside the fenced areas.

Beautiful park, fishing/boating lake, several miles of well-maintained trails for hiking and horseback riding. Sweet Fairy Trail May-Sept yearly, and many family programs and events year-round.

We took our dog here during the golden hour. There is plenty of conveniently located parking spots throughout the park. The trails aren't paved which was nice for our dog and we got to see people riding their horses which was pretty unique! Just watch out for horse poop!

We explored the park for a while, taking our time walking around the pond, exploring the fairy garden and just generally taking in the beautiful scenery on a December afternoon. Our dog had a great time.

There is also a dog park on the premises which was like icing on the cake for our pup! Lots to do and see! Highly recommend!
