  Very cool to see the old earthworks from the British fort that once stood here.

  Nice little place in the city to stretch your legs. New lookouts are a nice addition along with the water walk. But no river view from the top with all the trees.

  Nice place. Fun with the kids but small and with not a lot there for them to actually do other then run... they have added a wooden bridge and an observation platform that over looks the maumee river

Fort Miamis

Fort Miamis was an earthwork fortification located on the west side of the Maumee River and just south of Toledo. Designed and built by Royal Engineers, Fort Miamis consisted of 4 diamond shape earthen walls called Before Fort Miamis was built the site was used as a French trading post in the 1600s.
