My family members have been interred at Forest Cemetery since 1903. I am currently living in the metro Detroit area and the last of my immediate family. Recently I drove down to check on the graves and was dismayed to find my Grandmother's , Grandfather's, their baby son's and my cousin's makers had all been tampered or overturned. I called the Cemetery office and reported it they would send workers out to take care of it. Yesterday 11, 22, 19 we went to check and see if the work had been done it was done and we could tell they took special care to honor our loved ones. Thanks to all of you for a job well done.
Clean, and well kept location. I was able to visit to document some gravestones for genology research without any problems or concerns for my safety. I do not suggest going here in the later hours of the day, the area around this cemetery is not very 'nice'.
