“Love, love, LOVE this park! The trail is a boardwalk that traverses through a marsh. From the parking lot, I could already view an eagle's nest! It's a great place to spot others species such as warblers, gnatcatchers, thrushes, sparrows, and of course tons of red-winged blackbirds and swallows. Highly recommend!”

“We have the two group campground sites and they were wonderful for the 18 in our group. It is tent only. Wilderness only miles from the city. Flush toilets cleaned every day. There is a pavilion for the campers but picnic areas are in other areas of the park.”

“Even in winter it's stunning! A bit of a shorter walk than most. It's completely boardwalk except for part of it when you have to cross the street. Right before that there's a section of boardwalk that's sinking in a little with excess weight so watch your step.”

“Very unique campground. The sites are spacious and there are bushes separating the sites. The campground has a beachy feel with the vegetation there. The boardwalk through the marsh at the nature center is really cool. Lake Erie is close by and there is a nice bike path that goes along the lake for a ways.”

“This is a mobile home community, its very quiet for the most part, there are some neighbors that like to listen to their music loudly but not all the time and not excessively loud, the trailors are in need of some work and paint but nothing major, I feel that this is a good place to live especially for folks on a tight budget, the owner, property manager and maintenance are all wonderful people. The only real issue is with noticing the location, it is hard to see and many people often miss it due to lack of signage.”

“I loved this park, it connects to a nearby park which makes for a vast spacious experience when going along these paved paths. Its 25 degrees and I've still seen at least 30 different people and dogs among the earth here There's room for everyone and its a must see if you like tranquil places. “A real hidden gem.....best place I have camped at in years. Owner and employees super helpful super friendly. Don't be surprised if they just stop by to see if everything is okay or if you need any help with anything . They are so fantastic, they make this place 5 stars to us. Campground has wifi, no cable Has a fishing and swim lake, no pool Has showers that are bigger than most Bingo every Friday and Saturday, activities every weekend Every camper waves as they go past, most stop and chat. Not a party party campground, they did throw some campers out while we were there for destroying property.”

“The people here are just excellent! They should be the example that all other businesses follow in all honesty. My wife and I brought our dog here that we eventually had to put down because he was so sick and the entire staff was so helpful and understanding through the process that it showed they really cared for our pet and our feelings. Every procedure suggested was followed by how much it cost so there were absolutely no financial surprises. The doctors gave their best recommendations and thoroughly explained how each procedure would affect my dog too. The whole staff took the time to be patient with my wife and I through our tears. I cannot explain how nice this was. It is a heartwarming feeling when people treat you like people. Overall, there is no question, I would definitely come back here again.
