Beautiful park. Driving thru the park was lovely. The road thru is one way, lots of curves and small hills which I loved! There are a few shelters for eating...I'm not sure if you have to reserve. There is a playground area. Parking areas so you can walk around the park. There was a cross country event going on so we didn't walk around like we wanted. I'll check that out next time.
First time at this park so beautiful loved it they have 2 cabin like buildings with tables for like party's and shelters all with fireplaces grills and a creek that runs through it very well took care of there is one spot that has one of the little bridges where you can hear the water flowing so peaceful I could sit there all day and so much history on this land I would recommend this place would be a great place for wedding right now with the trees in bloom or to have pictures taken I have been to alot of parks and Metro parks and this is number one in my book
Beautiful park, with large developed areas for picnicking and playing, other areas are left in a natural state. The Whispering Oak Tree is a huge beautiful oak tree worth seeing along with the double covered bridge. Close to the covered bride is an 1800's wrought iron bridge.
The fort is no longer there, just a area marking the location.
A gorgeous hidden little park in Camden Ohio. It was so great seeing all the gorgeous colors, cleanliness is impeccable. I was able to hike alone and explore and was not disappointed with any view with in this park... They have a cute little covered bridge, some historical markers, awesome marry-go-round in their park, lots of swings and it appears they do a light display as they were working on that when I was there. I most definitely recommend this park to families, couples, schools, kids, elderly... Fun for all ages. There is also a nice little creek and many paved and wooded trails.
I went for the Christmas lights this year... I had a great time, in fact I can't wait to go this summer to check out the scenery and have a picnic! They did a fantastic job in the lights, love cookies and cocoa! I have no complaints!
