“I know searching for an assisted living community for one or both of one’s parents is extremely difficult. My brother and I worked together to find a place for our dad when it became apparent that he could no longer live on his own. With his precarious health situation, we were both anxious about settling him in somewhere and hoping his needs would be well met. Our experience with Brookdale has been very good. My dad has now been an assisted living resident at Brookdale Bath for going on three years. The management has changed since we started with Brookdale and while I have no complaints about the previous director, I have been so pleased with the current director and her staff. There have been numerous changes made, some smaller, some bigger, but all have been good. First and foremost for us, is the care aspect of the facility. Brookdale Bath is a smaller facility. I have appreciated this smaller size – I feel dad receives better and more immediate attention this way. The nurses at Brookdale have taken such good care of him. Dad is a brittle diabetic and his blood sugar has at times been completely unpredictable, but the nursing staff, working with his doctor (who comes directly to Brookdale), manage everything very well. Blood sugar issues are now very, very few and far between, and when there is an issue, it is handled adeptly. I’m kept abreast of changes with direct calls from the nurses. In addition, Dad tells me he feels well taken care of. The facility is very clean and the maintenance staff is friendly. They banter with Dad too. Laundry service and room cleaning have all been consistently good. We have lost a couple items early on but we didn’t have his things marked. Meal service offers many different options and Dad is treated to his favorite, a serving of cake drenched in milk, nightly. My dad is a bit of a character but the entire staff go out of their way to charm him. He is also a bit of a hermit and is not one to partake in many of the frequent outings and activities Brookdale offers, but the activities director has given it her very best shot, even offering to take him to baseball games and cater other outings to his interests. I don’t have any luck getting him out and about either. He’s always been happier with a good book than a party! More social residents seem to really enjoy all of the specials and even Dad will venture in for some of the live music and other specials every so often. We’ll keep working on him!”

“Gorgeous new clinic, very serene and peaceful, a perfect place to take nervous kids. Dr Barry is amazing! She is warm, friendly, and oh so kind and encouraging. Very knowledgeable. My daughter warmed up to her right away! She does ear piercings, Covid vaccines for under five (which are hard to find!), and pretty much anything else you might need in addition to excellent pediatric care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for a pediatrician!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I had to have a crown put on today. Dr Demboski always takes time to explain what he needs to do and his top concern is to make sure you are comfortable and not experiencing any pain. The staff is fantastic, they are all friendly and very knowledgeable. If you need to see a dentist I definitely recommend Dr. Demboski. A great dentist for adults and children!”

Stephanie was the only therapist who gave me free practical advice over the phone to survive each day until I could meet with her. Her guidance was completely new to me but completely changed my ability to put one foot in front of the other. Stephanie journeyed with me for a couple of years and helped me heal. It was not an easy process but each step of the way she walked with me, encouraging me to look inward and find myself in the middle of the pain. I am grateful for her expertise in EMDR and how it has helped our entire family to heal our brains. I would HIGHLY recommend Stephanie as a trauma-trained therapist. I've sent many people her way and advocate that everyone in life needs a good counselor! We need to normalize mental health therapy and Stephanie would be a great place to start."”

“Our family is very thankful that this community was recommended to us. My father in law joined Arden Courts because the facility that he was currently living at could not support his memory care needs. The previous facility was fine at first, but as his dementia got worse we were told to get private caregivers for him. We would receive calls to remedy difficult episodes, and often felt as if we were at fault. Arden Courts was recommended to our family as a place that could better meet our needs. If there were any issues, the staff at the community would already have a plan on how to handle the situation. The staff was always professional, thoughtful and caring, and always treated my father in law as wonder man he had been all his life. This is what we appreciated most. The layout and design of the community put my father in law at ease as he enjoyed walking and going outside freely. We have received several phone calls from others asking about our experience, and without hesitation, we recommend this wonderful community.”

“I see Rachel Turner with virtual therapy sessions and it's really nice to be able to stay out of the office during a pandemic and still get the same great care. The whole staff is wonderful, the check in process for virtual therapy is a little weird. You have to go into an app to check in and then go to a separate site and sign in again and the app is kind of annoying, but you can make payments through the app and see your upcoming appointments, so it's not totally useless, just silly to check in twice. I've forgotten to check in on the app and checked in on the computer and had to get a message saying "please check in on the app so we can get started" on more than one occasion. A minor gripe for a really great practice.”
