“Ordered a cake online three days before I needed it. Got a confirmation text and email but when I showed up, no cake. I was told she didn't have an order for it so I showed her my confirmation. Her solution was for me to pick out a cake and she wouldn't charge me for it... Which was fine in my case because the cake I had ordered was not that complicated anyway. It should go without saying that people order these cakes for special occasions because they want something "special". A bakery can make or break an occasion just in how they handle the cake. I do not hold the employee that took care of me responsible, she was kind and tried to make the best of this situation but I expected better of Kroger. The cake was delicious which is why you still got four stars.”

“I guess Doug is the fellow who greets you and is perpetually in this store. (I know, Mr. Obvious here.) He has every conceivable part such as bags, belts, replacement cords, ad nauseum for every possible repairable vacuum. His repairs are VERY reasonably priced for the value. He reconditions and resells used vacuums, too, so you can buy a really good solid Dyson for the price of a big box store flimsy vacuum at times. I would honestly check here before buying a vacuum in a big store - you're getting quality and he'll tell you exactly what will last.”

“I went to this Kroger the other day to get some milk. I walked to the back of the store and I saw there was a worker stocking the milk. I casually walked over to him and said hello as I grabbed some milk. He said hello back and continued with his work. I noticed his name was Evan. As I walked away, I looked back and that's when I saw that weirdest thing! With each gallon of milk that Evan stocked, he would message each jug and give them a kiss. That's when I thought to myself that he must really enjoy his job to put that much care into it.”
