“A great location at a great price! We were completely satisfied with this hotel that had a clean, spacious, and very comfortable room with a beautiful view of the lake. The downtown is walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants nearby and, in fact, a nice Italian one across the parking lot! Sadly, we were there on a Monday night and most eating places were closed on Monday—I think that might not be the case during the summer season. We will be back in the summer! My only criticism would be the lighting in the room. This blows me away when I get into a comfortable room and turn on the lights and they are the super bright white LED type with a color temperature that is very cold—think florescent lighting but worse because of the intensity. AND the sad thing is that, for the same price, you could use LED lighting with the same brightness that casts a warm temperature glow around 2700 that would mimic incandescent lighting that's warm and inviting. Since the sink is in the room, when you turn on the lights (and there are 6 of them across the mirror), you feel like you are in a Walmart parking lot at night. So easy to fix but some owners just don't see it. The lighting did not damage our experience. We were not in there that much. We loved the place and will plan a trip back next year.”

“This was by far the best Jellystone experience we've ever had. We went for Halloween Weekend. We booked the quad site with friends. The owner and his staff honestly made it even better with their kindness, generosity, and customer service. Looks like the have lots of upgrades coming for next season too. The cabins our friends got were gorgeous! Watch for specials, because they are honoring nurses right now and it was a great deal and special way to feel thanked. Golf carts are brand new and was a must for our big group. We enjoyed the RC track, the haunted walk and can't wait to come back in the summer to use the nice new pool! Thanks for the great trick or treat weekend!”

“The owner is cares about the hotel and guest experience, and it shows. The rooms are fresh, clean, and well appointed. My room has lots of natural light from 2 windows and in addition to the bed, there's a dining table and two chairs, a microwave and a fridge. There's ample free parking, and the hotel is handicap accessible. There are many shops and restaurants, as well as OWU campus, within walking distance. El Vaquero Mexican restaurant and bar is right next door. You get a lot of comfort and convenience for the price. I would stay here again.”

“We're seasonals that were displaced from another campground that we camped at for 16 years. Coming here we worried about the lack of amenities we had been used to, but there wasn't anything to worry about. The owners are very friendly and work tirelessly from dawn til dark to improve and update the park. The ponds are beautiful and clean. My kids have no trouble swimming in the lake. I'm a harder sell, but that's ok because there is a plan for a pool to be added next season! There are plenty of fish in each of the ponds and the kids enjoy catching them. They are working hard to get community building activities going(Friday bingo, monthly potlucks) and the band they had for Memorial weekend was outstanding! The rules and expectations for campers are quite reasonable for that of a family friendly campground. They had no trouble offering ample parking and a simple sign in for guests when we had my husband's 50th birthday party. We also found the golf cart trails this weekend and can't wait to explore those more in the coming weeks! Prices are fair and folks are very friendly. We're happy to have made the move.”

“Great marina, always busy but for a good reason, it's free! Wether your launching your boat, jet ski, or any other water vehicle. It is a very family friendly place it has a great view of the sunset if you're looking to take pictures. There is a public bathroom available which is very convenient. Bathrooms are well kept. A very nicely kept place overall. I go there often and am never disappointed with the marina. Nice place.”

“Comfortable, peaceful and serene are the first words that jump into my mind when thinking back to our weekend at Heartland! Laurie and Jim are the best hosts…available to help and super informative but also very respectful of our privacy. The Serenity Suite was perfect for our weekend…comfortable bed and sofa, a huge bathtub and a kitchenette that was just the right size. We opted for the Romantic Getaway package which included the most amazing couples’ massage (I can’t say enough about the great job Ashley and Jessica did!) and delicious breakfasts delivered to our suite…we didn’t even have to get out of our pjs! And the critters…we fell in love with them and loved feeding Ginger and Chewy (the friendliest goats ever!),throwing the ball for Boomer and snuggling with Blue. If you need a time and space to re-energize and relax, you can’t go wrong at Heartland!”

Great Blend of permanent and weekenders like myself. Had am amazing community feel. Shallow pool with spalsh pad perfect for little ones. Great activities aimed at campers of all ages. ON SITE veteran owned restaurant (Cut Cafe) serving up amazing food. Propane fill on site. Camp store. 20 minute drive to many local attractions. Easy online booking. Friendly staff. “We had a group come to camp here. Overall we had a blast and the campground was great, clean, and the company (other campers) were extremely laid back. The bathrooms and showers were clean also. ****The only issues we had were that We had two campsites B23 & B24 and neither one of them had a grill in the fire pits (and both of ours for whatever reason were the only two without them, I checked). Also one of our campsites B23 we couldn't even use bc there was room for only one tent (online it says you can fit up to 6 people realistically you could fit a 2-3 person tent in that spot) and it had been raining so that only spot was a mud puddle the rest of the area was at a slope and/or concrete so nobody could pitch a tent there. I would still definitely go back.”

“This is the second time I’ve come here as an adult, although I grew up canoeing out of both Morgan liveries. Both these recent times I brought a group. We camped, bicycled, and kayaked … and had a great time. The Morgans are wonderful, attentive hosts. The campsites are HUGE and NICE. This campground has convenient not-stinky portolets, and very clean hot water restrooms. I highly recommend Morgans’ for camping and kayaking!!”

“As long as you keep your head down and dont cause problems its fine there. What i mean is take care of your trailer and yard. Keep pets tamed. Dont be loud and obnoxious just be a good neighbor. Pay your rent on time and dont give the office hassle and your fine. I havent had any problems here. I like the park and from the stories ive heard in the past the park is way better now. Sandy and Brandi keep it running smooth and are really nice to as long as you do what any good tenant would. Its not hard to be a good tenant. I like living here.”
