“Most people see or hear Elyria High and would rather send their kids to a "safer" place like Midview or EC. Elyria High School is a fine establishment and a hell of a school despite this public stigma. The building is new, big, and beautiful with a variety of resources available whether that be athletic or academic. Athletes are very likely to be recognized as we are a Division 1 school in a very tough and prestigious conference. You're not going to like everyone as some people are really bad and annoying, but every high school has people like that. I'm a sophomore and if I were to say one thing about this place, it'd be that its real. There's no degree of fakeness and cliques are practically non-existent. Although they have a ton of students to take care of, the staff care greatly about us aside from those rude ladies in the office. I wish that so many people weren't afraid to send their children to our school as it does an amazing job under our city's unfortunate financial circumstances.”

“The pre-k program at St. Matthew's is excellent. I would recommend it time and again. Our son was immature and lacked confidence. He blossomed under the program and continues doing well in school. Sister Paulina, the director, has each child's best interest at heart and provides an enriched education and a nurturing and structured environment with a strong faith based foundation. The program helps guide each child on his/her transition from preschool to elementary and sets them up for future successes.”

“We love The Barrington School of Upper Arlington so much! Our daughter has only attended for less than 2 months and we already feel part of the family. I feel like the entire staff knows my daughter's name and knows who I am, which makes me feel the sense of belonging. I know she is being well cared for and loved. The teachers have been very supportive and helpful through the transition of starting a center-based care and when we moved her to the next room (b/c of potty training--which they've also been amazing with!). On another note, they have been great with our part time schedule, the rates are very reasonable and everyone truly looks happy to be there/work there which is a great sight to see!”

“Caring staff, great summer program with field trips for bigger kids. I started my newborn here at 6 weeks and was really nervous, but with the ability to watch the cameras in the room from my phone with my own personal family code, I felt at ease. They offer date nights once a month that are super affordable and my SO and I look forward to that. The staff has been incredibly accommodating during personal issues within our family, as well as our child who has special needs within the classroom. Preschool graduation is adorable! The teachers do great learning activities and are very involved with my kiddos. I cannot speak highly enough of New Adventures. We tried a couple other local daycares but no one in the Mantua/Hiram area compares to the quality of care, flexible hours, and attention to family needs like New Adventures!”
