My daughter has had an amazing experience at this school. The teachers and administrators really care about the kids. It also seems as though the longevity among the staff is far greater than some of the other middle schools in Norman. They love teaching there and it shows.

Front office is fantastic. If you child has a chance to get Ms.Wahpepah, Mr. Gunnels, or Ms.Baez they need to take it. I have had excellent experiences with these three teachers. They communicate very well with parents and are quick to answer questions.

I went to Irving and had one of the best experiences I could at a middle school. This was also back in 1998-2001, but some of my best academic years were spent here. We learned valuable life lessons, we met with a holocaust survivor, we had many educational trips that were hands on. I know it's not the greatest looking school, but the teachers care so much for their kiddos. They built lasting relationships and had such a profound effect on so many.

Awesome middle school! My son loves his teachers. He has been at this school for 2 years and there is not a single negative statement we can make. The administration and teaching staff are excellent.
