“This is incredibly good Texas-style BBQ. As I am an expert in Central and South Texas BBQ, I know good when I taste it. This is great! The ribs and brisket were award-winning. A lot of restaurants serve sides as an afterthought. Not Boss Hawg. I tried the garlic mashed potatoes and the collard greens. Best greens I've had since grandma died. Potatoes on point, and serving size very generous. Price was very fair. Ambience also gets an "A" The only black mark wasn't the establishment, but one of the customers. If you want your six year old to be a track star, that's fine. Don't bring him to a restaurant to practice his wind sprints behind my chair. He's going to be a draw at the local matches as well. Never been to a track meet where a runner screams while running. Drop him off at the coaches house next time you go out; we'll all appreciate your kindness.”
