“Great local owned bbq resturant. We had the lunch sausage sampler which had 3 types of homemade smoked sausage. The jalapeño cheddar was awsome. Pictured below chopped brisket, fried okra (a must have) and sweet beans and campfire potatoes. The potatoes were really good ole fashioned fried in a skillet with some seasonings and onion. The Okra was amazing. Very crispy, not slimey and seasoned perfectly. Chopped brisket was a little fatty but that can happen. Overall very good and great service. Stop in right off route 66”

“Okay - I used to order the #3 from Sonic many many moons ago. It was my favorite burger, and I am talking 1980's. Well, i always tell this Sonic I would like the Sonic burger, no cheese, all of the veggies, no mayo or ketchup, add hickory sauce. I will tell you - this Sonic gets it right. I find myself craving this all of the time...so good. It really reminds me of 1987. What's funny, most of the complaints have nothing to do with the food. Lighten up complainers.”

“I called during happy hour to try out a strawberry limeade that has my sister sold at a discount. The drink didn't do much for me and I'll stick to the traditional most yummy cherry limeade. The last few times I've had their cherry limeade it's had a new most delicious flavor, seemingly a kiss of vanilla, that definitely wasn't there in the past. I hadn't had one since forever til the past year. My visits here have ranged from 3-5 stars. The pretty very sweet girl at the window had most long and also painted fingernails that I feel compromise the sanitary, safe, and professional handling of food. 4 stars this call.”

“The food is good, but for what it is, a bit overpriced. I asked for plantain chips for dipping. I was charged at least $5 and got these sugar coated plantains that were just awful. It was clearly a misunderstanding, but it really upset me. We ordered food for just two people and the total came to more than $40 and we didn’t even dine-in OR get it delivered. I drove to pick it up. I still can’t believe it cost over $40 for two people to eat. Note, this included no drinks or desserts. I would honestly give them a much lower rating, because I absolutely hate being taken advantage of and ripped off, but they’re just starting out. I’m hoping they can get it together in time and adjust their prices to be more reasonable. I can’t say I’ll return, but to support a new business, check it out. Be very wary of the prices though! Also, this upset me so much, because we order sushi from a much higher end restaurant AND pay to have it delivered (5.5 miles away). Our total including the tip and delivery fee is LESS than our total here. It’s very aggravating.”
