When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find an entire cultural center!
The museum itself is great. Some absolutely gorgeous glass windows that steal the show. Other than that, there is a robust offering of historical and present cultural history.
Average stay is probably about 1-2 hours.
If you are one to read everything, expect 2-3.
Very clean, very polite. I went for the comic convention and while we were there we check out some of the other things. It is a very beautiful property, and beautiful building. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to attendings some of the other events they hold.
The museum chronicles the history and culture of the Jewish people. There are very old artifacts throughout. In addition to the ancient artifacts, they have stunning virtual reality apps near the lobby that showcase synagogues around the world. They also have several amazing Torahs, which are old biblical scrolls, usually in ornate cases.
The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, informative, and friendly. Each exhibit was better than the last! The entire museum is touching, historical, interactive, and very clean.
I came here primarily because of my love of stained glass. They had some beautiful windows that were removed from a Jewish synagogue. Not being Jewish, I received quite an education on Jewish life. The museum contained many artifacts. There was also a huge holocaust exhibit. We spent several hours here.
