“In the beginning when I first started going there it was in a horrible place meaning it was run down, damn near every shelf was empty, all boxes, crates and pullies were in the middle of the aisles with everything still wrapped and boxed up,half on the floors or walking out the door without a worry in the world and discombobulated to the max! I felt bad seeing a different employee every other day! It gradually started to get people in there that truly cared about the company, the store and the customers! In a couple of months later after not going there for a while one day walked in and was breathless and proud at how far they have come! The store looked amazing and I couldn't do anything but give them props and thank them! One of the workers said that was the best thing she's heard since she's been there and that made her feel good! First because it was acknowledged and second it was appreciated! The reason why I'm on here giving a review is because I was submitting an application for this particular store and got lost and decided to give my personal thoughts! I wish I could get my app in and hope for a possible interview and employment! Go DG awesome work and amazing genuine employees! I would love to be a part of that crew! “5/20/23 I have been looking for seed to overseed my yard, it seams like every where they are selling the 3in1 not just a large bag of seeds. I looked online couldn't find any store that have the 40 or 50lb bags but I found the 40lb bag at the Walmart garden center and it was the cheapest they don't even have our online but it was on the store.”

Gift bags, cards, kids toys, diapers, milk, soup, bread, drinks, chips, ice cream etc. The store is usually clean and stocked fairly well. My only complaint is they normally only have one cashier. Which wouldn't be a big deal but when the line is 5-7 people deep it's annoying.”

“I am not a fan of Dollar General as a whole nor overly fond of this location in particular. I often drive out of my way to avoid it but visit by necessity on occasion given its proximity to the somewhat rural location of our home. However, this location has one thing going for it and that is an employee by the name of Roman. Roman stands out like a shining light in his environment. He is always smiling and engaging. He is thoughtful in offering help like locating merchandise or bagging items with ultimate regard and consideration for the customer. He makes the experience smoother and more pleasant for everyone he encounters - I’ve observed this every time he is on site. I believe his talents are being wasted in his current role and firmly believe he would be an outstanding addition and asset to any organization smart enough to hire him.
