I was first brought here to help with discipline, but I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would! Wanting a black belt gave me a goal to strive for, and once I passed that, I wanted my 2nd degree, etc. Everyone probably thinks that karate is always super-strict, and yes, we do have to say “yes, sir” and “yes, ma’am” when talking to instructors, but we have a lot of fun. We laugh and joke all the time. Karate is an amazing experience that everyone should consider. (This school has closed and they have moved to 101st and Mingo Rd., Next to State Farm and Asian Star restaurant)”

“I am currently attending TCC at this location. I have only been to this one and the West campus. If I have to chose between the two of them, I'd definitely choose this one. During this time, they are taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of their students. Every person, including staff, if required to wear a mask. When you ever the building, they take your temperature. As you go into your classroom, you are set seven feet apart from the person next to you. When class is dismissed, cleaning personnel sanitize the entire room. I truly feel at home at this campus! The staff are so friendly, and the professors are very helpful. If you have to take a Math(Quantitative Reasoning) class, take Brena Belovich! She is the best!”

“I can’t say enough about the manager Sue and her staff. My family and I had a planned a brunch at another restaurant; however, upon arrival they weren’t able to accommodate due to staff shortages. They didn’t have the common courtesy to call and let us know. Keep in mind it had been planned for several months. I called this location and explained situation Sue said”sure we will make it work for you”. They allowed us to bring in decorations and everything and even took pictures for us. “About a month ago me and my girlfriend were in Tulsa and stranded with no vehicle, we walked all the way from North Quanah Street in the heat and we were very fatigued because of the sweltering heat. We had no clue where we were going.. finally we had reached desperation... my girlfriend was in tears because of being lost in the heat and she thought for sure that we weren't going to make it to where we going in time before they closed. But we began to come over a hill on an overpass and my girlfriend and I saw a big building with the words on it TULSA COUNTY ELECTION BOARD . So we went towards it and my girlfriend and I were so lost and hot , and hopeless we decided to go in if at least some air conditioning. We entered the building and the lady behind the counter began to immediately out of nowhere start to console my girlfriend and got her to calm down. She got his both glasses of cold water and continued to help my girlfriend and I by helping us locate where the bus lines were and almost every other employee there around that lady started to help us as well they even broke out what money they had in their wallets and proceeded to give us the change that we needed for the bus. The lady behind the desk actually looked up the number and called the bus line and figured out which bus we needed to get on so we can make it to where we needed to go and they were just super nice and some of the best people I've ever met. Thanks to the people at the Tulsa County Election Board”

I almost forgot to mention that the occasion for my visit to the Ridge Grill restaurant was my grandpa's 84th birthday. And I must say, the restaurant did an outstanding job of making us feel special. I brought in a cake and the staff sang "Happy Birthday" to him. It was a heartwarming moment and my grandpa was beaming with joy. Overall, the Ridge Grill restaurant truly went above and beyond to make us feel special on this occasion.
