“It was a great unplanned stop on a trip. We picked up a couple of pie pumpkins and smaller decorative ones. First batch of pies turned out great! And the mini-pumpkins made for some nice fall decorations. The people working the store were super helpful and friendly. This place will be on the list of places to go next year.”

“These guys should be your go to for salmon and steelhead gear. I dropped in yesterday, 9/2/22, and spent about 30 minutes talking with (supposedly retired) Wayne. These folk have used the scientific method to create their own line of lures and accessories. They're not just making something that looks flashy, they're making something that works. As a science guy, their methodology is sound to me. Contrast is everything. I'm looking forward to their future expansion into the trout fishing game. Thanks, Wayne, for a great conversation. “We toured the place at the request of our neighbors who were considering moving there. Our opinion was very favorable. All the residents we met were happy, the staff was friendly, the food was good and the setting is pleasantly rural. There are all sorts of activities and even a hospital like area for residents recovering or in need of nursing care. It is an older facility and although well maintained is showing it's age somewhat in décor. For the more mobile, the grounds include walking access to Clear Lake with wooded areas surrounding when you need a little solitude. Overall, we were impressed. I would like to know their reason for their rejecting the lady with the one star review. We certainly didn't get the impression and were specifically assured that our religion or lack would play no part in acceptance.”
