“Good place to run some dogs! -From a dog walker/trainer To be honest we were there for only a few mins, passing through town and all, but I wanted to let the dogs out to stretch the leggies, chase a ball, etc. The playground looked fun, I didn't expect the lil digger toy...brought back my childhood 😅❤️ The grass/soccer field, and debris on it, was picked up. It was kept short, tho imo, a lil too short. But I digress. It was a slow sunny day, so only myself, and mom and their child, and a separate man and their dog, however even on a slow day, people respected each other's space, as far as off-leash dogs go. I walk and train dogs, so my own/client dogs need to be 100% reliable on and off leash, it's nice to see people respecting that, even if mine are friendly to whatever variable, I don't allow my own and clients dogs to run up to people unless the stranger (ADULT) has expressed visual/or verbal confirmation. It's a nice calm lil hole in the wall park spot tho. Definitely would recommend. Jus remember to always clean up after yourself, and your furry member, or child. 😁❤️”

“We go here for the dog park but it’s also very nice to take walks and see so much life in this park there’s always a game going on or families out playing in the playground & water playground area or having a picnic or barbecuing so much Life we love it. the dog park has separate lrg and small dog Offleash areas which is great. this part could’ve received five stars but there’s not a single tree in the small dog side and whoever developed it obviously isn’t a dog owner because they definitely could’ve done a better job with the area they have.”

“Beautiful rhododendron garden open to the public on weekends on April and May. Walking through the well maintained garden is very peaceful and the rhododendrons are impressive in both bloom and size. Would highly recommend visiting!”

“As always Schreiner’s was amazing. We took our dog, Spike, came with us and was exhausted at the end. The flowers are in grand bloom, the peonies are seated and the clematis have just begun. If you’re looking for a place to take beautiful photos, this is it. From 7 am- 9 am you can get a special ticket for photography. Kids 12 and under are free with an adult ticket all week long. There is only one food cart this year, the food was good. But it took a while as there was only one, and lots of people. The cook was delightful, even though she was very busy. There is also a coffee food cart. There are plenty of benches in the shade and in the sun. You get a $2 discount if you purchase tickets on line.”

“My dogs loved the cold water and the random dog that was strolling through yesterday was nice. Hopefully they belong to someone close by. The water was higher than normal and hid a large chunk of the path and water access but it was still fun and beautiful.”

“Good stuff about this State Park, the access to the miles of trail along the Willamette River. In fall it's simply beautiful in fall splendor. Having said that it's lost some of its appeal for cabin or tenting with the coldest showers and uncomfortable cabin beds. Camping in your own trailer is reccomended. Dog friendly and our dog Herbie loves the place.”

“We only had a short time here and we didn't get to see all of the park by far, but from what we did see I'd happily come back. The drive through the park was beautiful and the kids loved seeing the osprey nest. We walked along part of the lake and over to see the big cottonwood. The number of different trees along just the short trail we followed was amazing, we counted at least 13 species and I'm sure we missed some! The kids loved looking for animal sign. I was very excited to see the horse riders in the park, and we saw ample picnic tables during our stay.”

“It was a great unplanned stop on a trip. We picked up a couple of pie pumpkins and smaller decorative ones. First batch of pies turned out great! And the mini-pumpkins made for some nice fall decorations. The people working the store were super helpful and friendly. This place will be on the list of places to go next year.”

“We love this campground! It is so close to Portland but is so peaceful. We have stayed in A-loop twice by the playground and it is great for families and not too loud at night. The bathrooms are clean and the sites are well maintained. We love the bike trails, especially the trail to the museum. We did the long ride to the Butteville Store and were surprised that it ends on such a busy road before you maneuver down to the store! Be warned if you have little kids. But the ice cream and service there are top notch!”

“My first time visiting Aurora's antique district. Time After Time was definitely worth the trip. Their products are in such good condition that they could be considered new. The Halloween section captivated my inner spirit and I could not leave without making a purchase.”

“This is a great place to stay for all you folks with RVs. Spaces are large, surroundings are quiet, the ladies in the office are always friendly and I'm sure they're smiling under their masks. Your fur babies are welcome, there's on site laundry, clean restrooms and showers. There's even a pool open for the summer season. Also, walking distance to Elmer's, Arby's, Jack in the Box, Jimmy John's, Starbucks, and The Outlet Mall.”
