“I don't think I can say enough about Heartwood Place...they took wonderful care of my mother for the last 4 years of her life and my father for a short while until he passed on. We originally looked into Heartwood because of its proximity to my home which would make it easier for my father to visit her every day...which he did except for when Covid hit and visitations were limited. Since we visited every day, we got to know everyone really well...staff and residents. Both the administrative staff and caregivers love the residents and treat them like family. I can honestly say that I don't think my mom would have gotten better care anywhere else. Even though it has been a couple of years since my mom passed on and over a year since my dad passed, I am still friends with several of the staff who cared for them. If any more of my loved ones needed a memory care facility...I wouldn't have them go anywhere else.”

“I contacted Carlos Automotive Repair today because my splash guard on my 2015 Camry popped off and was dragging on the ground. It’s hard when you’re a young woman going alone to mechanics because I’ve found that places like Les Schwab want to try to upsell me the entire time I’m there and tell me I need to purchase things I don’t need to purchase. I reached out to the guys at Carlos’ and was quoted $20-$40 and I asked if they had time that day and they said absolutely and to come on down. I showed up and the guy that helped me was so nice and made me feel so comfortable while I was there. He promptly pulled my car in, I took a seat in the office, and he fixed my problem in about 10 minutes. He came back in and charged me $10 for the repair. I can’t say how much I appreciate the guys there enough! Times are tough and money is tight and I was worried about how much it was going to cost me, and thankfully the nice souls at Carlos’ really hooked me up. I recommend them if you need mechanic work done, I’ll definitely be going back in the future. Thanks guys!!”

“Love, love, love this classical Catholic hidden gem! We have had five children attend this school located out in the rural farmlands of the Willamette Valley. The teachers are dedicated to their students and classroom size is ideal at less than 20 students per grade. The education is phenomenal and the Catholic faith is incorporated throughout every aspect of daily school life. Creative parent involvement helps keeps the price for this education at a rate that is lower than any other Catholic private education in this area. Most families have multiple children attending and the school is very generous with working with tuition. I am only sad that our youngest graduated and I look forward to volunteering in this blessed atmosphere in the years ahead.”

“The place is clean and they do a good job. They on the other hand didn’t give me an honest quote for what I’d be paying to get one thing done. They quoted me a very high amount to begin with, I paid it insurance paid, and now for some reason I’m being sent a bill months after and the for why they didn’t quote me higher to being with was never explained to me. I’m not going back to this place again. Even when I called to get an explanation to the bill they couldn’t give an actual reason for the amount at all. I’ve never had to deal with this from a dentist before. I’m very disappointed this happened especially because of the reviews I read. Update: they looked into my account and sent me a refund. The refund was a big one, which is why I’m not super happy that I even got sent a bill in the first place. Advice to those that choose this dentist, read your bills and make sure the math adds up. They do great work. It’s the billing department that worries me. I do have to say that the owner is at least honest and looks into things that upsets customers which is a big plus.”
