“We had a family friend in town last month and their 2 year old child wanted to see the fire trucks. I called Station 10 and left a message since they were out on a call. I got a return call the SAME day inviting the 2 year old to come and view the trucks. It absolutely made his trip. They let him get into the trucks and sit behind the steering wheel. They provided him with a fireman's hat, coloring book and other fun things. The two gentlemen that gave us the tour were wonderful. It's good knowing that we have the best working for the city of Portland.”

“It had been maybe 6 or 7 years since we walked at Powell Butte and returned to find it better than we remembered. Meadow grasses had matured and paths we're in great condition. The steeper trails on the forested back corner were appreciated for variety and a decent workout to boot. Really felt like we had left Portland behind for somewhere very different. An added bonus, due to the topography, the summit loop path is shielded from the traffic noise below making this a sound refuge as well. Ahhh...”
