“What's not to love? You're surrounded by beautiful scenery everyday, listening to the sounds of wildlife, and the freshest most delicious produce is minutes away. The whole island is a miniature Paradise and this RV Park allows you a private beach right on it. It's well run, friendly, and no matter where you park you'll get a view. We were parked in the back and had views of the most magnificent trees that I sketched almost every day. I also loved watching the big boats on the river. Idyllic. ❤️”

“The place is so beautiful all over. Plants and nature everywhere in the front. The host was so friendly from the start right up to the check out. Very resourceful and kind. Also this place was very close to alot of parks and nice walks. It was a great relaxing couple of days I needed after a long road trip and I'm so happy I found this place. “Stayed for 3 nights, amazing. Breakfast was definitely the biggest downfall of the stay (quality wise), but a free breakfast is always appreciated and accepted! A close walk to the rail station for those who need access to the airport, even for extremely early flights you’ll feel safe walking over in the early dark hours of the morning. Didn’t experience the pool, but the gym was perfect and very spacious. Also, woman at the front desk was super helpful although I cannot remember her name.”

“Close to interstate exit. Day shift staff is friendly and attentive. I didn't get the woman in charge's name, but she's great, as is the guy at the check in desk. I had a minor problem with the microwave, and they had a maintenance guy check it out, confirm the problem, and brought a NEW microwave in pretty short order. There are ice machines on both floors. Bed is firm and comfortable. plenty of lamps; no USB ports, but enough outlets. Decent breakfast for a budget motel: oatmeal, honey buns, breads, cereal, bagels, milk, juices, coffee, and butter, peanut butter, jelly, etc. Water is ridiculously hot, so be careful at sink or in shower. Good water pressure, but toilet flush is pretty weak. Small 32 inch TV. Great wifi; I got 100mbps. Coin operated washer and dryer on second floor. This is a motel. Not a full service hotel. No bar, business center, etc., but you shouldn't expect that for the price. As for "smoke smell" that others have complained about: I booked a smoking room (261, which is on the first floor...), but am not a heavy smoker. I didn't notice any strong smoke smell. Some people will smoke in nonsmoking rooms, especially now that weed is legal most places. If you're super sensitive to light smoke smells, you can pay 3x more and book a high end hotel. This place is clean and pretty well maintained. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's updated, laminate floors rather than nasty carpet. Small coffee maker, an an iron and board in the room. climate control works well, as does the mini fridge. has a dresser and a small desk with rolling office chair. There is an outdoor pool, but it's not in service yet since it's early April. I've been here for 3 days, and haven't experienced any problems with noise and sketchy people hanging around outside.”

“We stayed in a 2br suite for six days. Rooms are comfortably modern and extremely clean. Staff was always professional, prompt, and helpful. A great location close to shops and nightlife, but tucked away from the main drag. Great for a short or extended stay, or a weekend "away" in your own town. Only downside, guest laundry does not have hot water and the dryer does not seem to get hot either. It should be updated.”

“Northstar is one of the best ski resorts in Tahoe. Great skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels. Lots of groomers, good tree runs, a slew of terrain parks for beginners to experts, and the backside is fantastic on powder days... but the real reason for this review is the excellent customer service. I lost my wallet this weekend and Bryan from Lost and Found was extremely helpful. Once my wallet was located, Bryan gave me a call to let me know and confirm my address. My wallet was then priority shipped to me the next day free of charge. Amazing!! I am extremely grateful. Thanks North Star for another phenomenal season. I will certainly be renewing my season pass next year.”

“UPDATE! 8/27/2020 - Back to a strong 5 stars! Things just cost more everywhere! What you can’t get everywhere is top notch management. This place has it! Very effective communication, friendly and trustworthy reps. Been living full time here since the Covid-19 started. Which, BTW, was well handled by the staff. Always feel safe. Planes are pretty much gone for now. Great neighbors. Live is good. One of my all-time favorite PNW RV parks. Great location, excellent staff. Very clean well maintained restrooms and laundry facility. Rates are comparable to better than other area parks. Centrally located near PDX airport but not in landing path, quite evenings. Highly recommended! UPDATE 8/2017: Pricing, at all levels, went up. Priced me out of the park. On top of “no Kid park/playground” makes me reevaluate my review and stars. From a 5 to a 3 for reasons as noted.”

“This hotel is actually a very nice, clean and quaint little place to stay within the city limits to where I typically would be spending the majority of my time in. Very clean and nicely conditioned like everything considering its a newer hotel among those that also reside within this area but this one seems more in my budget and offers a much more convenient stay like for those who maybe dont have a working vehicle at this time well that's nothing to worry about, they offer trimet max service not even a block away from the hotel as well as information on other trimet bus schedules and routes. The continental breakfast is also a nice touch to add to your guests that I'm beginning to notice doesnt really matter at this current weird and messed up time we find ourselves in nowadays with the whole covid 19 stuff happening. All in all I do approve ans highly recommend for others to stay here if they ever are in need of a nice and accommodating hotel.”
