I had their designer come out and do a consulting on the outside color and then got two pints to try in the house, look completely different in the shade than the sun and thankful that the designer told me to paint both places. Have a decision now on which color we're going with. Were using the standard Navy Miller paint for exterior with white trim it's going to look fantastic on my 1926 house.”

“Other 7-Eleven locations in SE Portland have disappeared - the building at 60th and E Burnside has been demolished, and the store at 45th and SE Hawthorne is now vacant. So, this may now be the closest location for a number of folks. Happily, my first visit was a pleasant one. The building has windows on opposing sides, so it seemed brighter and more cheerful than most. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and efficient. So, as convenience store experiences go, this one was just what I would hope for.”

“They give small portions- a sweet potato order only brings out two slices. But it's all you can eat, so can't complain. The broths are good, but be aware that if you ask for a spicy hot and you're using individual portion hot pots, they will add enough oil for a full sized hot pot. So your food will be literally swimming in pure oil. My partner got sick off it, so just be aware. There's no problem with regular sharing hot pot or the non spicy ones. My favorite broth is the herbal one, can't go wrong with it. I wish they had a wider selection of vegetables, but their meat selection is great. The bathrooms are kept clean too. I prefer Urban Hot Pot to this joint, but this place is definitely closer and it still checks all the boxes that a hot pot place should. Especially good if you're a first time hot pot adventurer.”
