1) u pass a nice eating area where you can pick your own berries, watch some horses.
2) there is a bathroom (not the best but its there)
3) long bike trail !!! (Wish we had bikes)
4) MULTIPLE picnic tables stationed throughout the walk (not really a hike)
Overall great place to stop by and relax! -

(August 20, 2021, 1:34 am)This is probably the highlight of the Banks to Vernonia trail. It sort of sneaks up on you as ride up to it. I did not know it was curved, must of been exciting to drive a train over it in the day.

(April 21, 2021, 11:01 am)Once used by logging trains, this is now part of the 21-mile-long Banks-Vernonia State Trail, an excellent example of a rails-to-rails project. The trestle is 80' high. There is an easy trail from the parking lot that runs under the trestle and to the bottom for the most spectacular views. Well worth a quick side trip off Hwy. 26.
