This course is tree city! Holes are close together and not a lot of large hills. Easy to navigate even without UDisc. Best to throw yellow and orange discs with so many ferns wanting to hide your disc right under your nose. Mostly shaded so great to play when it’s warm out. Nice restroom at the start of the course with ample parking. Definitely a great course to get your tree game honed in.
Lots of trees and the ferns have a tendency to "consume" the discs if you aren't paying close attention to where they land. With that being said though, it's a lovely course crossed with an easy hiking trail and worth the experience.
Great disc golf course. Beautiful scenery and lots of trees. Enjoy the walk because scoring will be challenging.
As with most Oregon State Parks, the scenery is breathtaking. The vegetation grows beautifully. The paths are well kept for cyclists, equestrians, and pedestrians.
There are signs posted warning disc golfers of high yellow jacket activity so be cautious.
There is a 9-hole beginners disc golf course as well as an advanced 18-hole course. We did not play the beginners course so I'm afraid I have no input for that one. The 18-hole course will have baskets placed at amateur (A) or professional (B) distances. The course is challenging and a lot of fun and almost 100% shade!
Be prepared to spend some time hunting for discs.
Compared to what I've seen, this course looks pretty difficult but then again I'm not a Disc Golfer! Pretty amazing park and day use on top of the hill with some wicked awesome trails to explore.
