Foege Park

Address: 125 NW Cedar Hills Blvd, Portland, OR 97229, USA

Park

“Foege Park is a lineal park running along both sides of Cedar Hills Blvd. I take my daily walk in a section of the park where there is an 8 foot sidewalk running around a grassy area, so I can walk and still keep my social distance from others. Also, I 'm away from the busy streets with their narrow sidewalks where people walking on the sidewalk would have to step into the street to keep their distance. Lately, someone has been creating children's chalk obstacle courses on the sidewalk I walk on that are just delightful! (And, yes, I do try them out.)”

Commonwealth Lake Park

It is a great place for a walk, for children to learning to ride bikes and even a bit of fishing. It is often filled with parents with toddlers and strollers. There are ducks, cormorants, kingfishers and blue herons regularly. Occasionally a green heron, turtle or osprey is spotted along with more serious photographers.”
