“This little park has everything you need for a great family picnic in the beautiful surroundings of Oregon State. Playground for kids, public bathrooms, picnic covered patio, and tables available. Even a little history for the kids.”

“This is and always has been one of my most favorite parks in Mac. It's generally a pretty peaceful place. And it is always beautiful no matter what season it is. I love that I can take my little doggo, they have poo bags available if you forgot yours at home and there's garbage cans at the parking lot. There's also picnic tables if you want to have a snack. There's not really a playground but I do know that kids love to visit the giant mushroom that you can go into like a little house :)”

“I don't know what they usually do at this park. It seems like it's just a big empty filled with dead grass. It looks like there might be a track around it? we came here for the old fashioned festival looked we looked at the scout expo and the fairgrounds and also went to the parade and booths at memorial Park around the corner we watched cover band play before the fireworks at 10. It was great.”

“Perfect little neighborhood playground! 2 slides, 2 swings, a couple of ladders, the always-favorite ‘bar’ for a make-believe ice cream shop, and some high monkey bars for older kids. My only request would be for a couple of baby swings :)”

“This park has a great view but that pretty much it. It is just a bench at on a larger area of grass on top of a neighborhood hill. Dogs seem to enjoy it but there is not a fenced area for them. The park is pretty well maintained.”

“Great venue, great idea wish I had done a s set up like this. It's got a great big lawn, some covered areas, beautiful landscaping too. It also has paved parking so your don't get muddy if you're having an event in the rainy season. I came to a dance showcases for my daughter and it worked great as a venue for the academy.”

“My 2 and 3 year olds really enjoyed this park. The playground itself was 3 stars for me - chipping paint and quite soggy and muddy (no new bark dust had been put down). BUT the rest of the park was 5 stars - winding paths and a great little skate park. Can’t wait to bring their balance bikes back!”

“Beautiful park in a lovely neighborhood! Thinking about moving to Oregon from Arkansas and seriously considering this neighborhood in a wonderful town! Perfectly located within a reasonable drive to the coast, as well as to Portland.”

“I love this little square of forest and public land in the middle of farmland. It's a beautiful little paradise with a picnic shelter, tall trees, and a little parking. The one thing is that when the nearby dairies start to water their crops with cow waste water, it smells pretty bad. It's not unbearable if you're used to farm country, but it's not pleasant.”

“Needs some maintenance to ensure it's clean; should be cleaning up after yourself but it didn't seem that way the couple times I've been. Great training area for shy dogs like mine. Also has a nice gating system to keep dogs in while others enter and exit. Friendly people if you have a shy dog and need to do some private training, and a nice run for larger dogs.”

“Cairns Farm is gorgeous, and truly captures the essence of the Oregon Willamette Valley. The sprawling farm is perfectly picturesque. I've loved every second I've spent here. When I visited, there were baby goats! Don't hesitate to reach out about event planning or questions, the staff is incredibly accommodating and gracious.”
